Rate your drinking water/tap water.

ok- tell me about ur drinking water. i grew up in Chicago- with muti million $ filtration plant- and a natural wonder of the world- Lake Michigan, we had the BEST!

When i moved to PA- I found spotty water. Small towns cant afford good filtration plants.

Reminder to properly hydrate in this heat.

I live in Oklahoma, chicken poop from Ark. runs into our drinking water.
They assure us its fine because of the filter system...they can drink it

I had a 200 ft deep well, when I live in NJ and never drank bottled water. The water in florida, I do not give to my cat to drink. I just saw on the news today some cities are banning bottled water. How can you ban bottled water??

Interestingly enough I just read something a week or two ago about bottled water. They were discussing how terrible it is for our environment with all of the bottles. In addition they did a test across the board and found that the bottled waters were no better than tap water. In fact most of the bottled waters were just that, tap water, in a spiffy pricey bottle. Granted there are places that tap water is rather noxious for some reason or other, but they wrote that a simple faucet filter usually gets rid of most anything that would create a foul odour or taste.

I am not a green freak but I certainly do not want to contribute to the earth's problems with a bunch of wasted bottles. I have a filter on my kitchen sink faucet and a plastic jug I bring water to work in. I keep a big water bottle handy so that I can fill it and take along in the car also. Much less expensive and better for the environment....win win.

In California the water tasted like chlorine....especially places where you really needed water to taste decent like at the gym.
So, it was mostly bottled.

Here, we have our own well.  The ground is nice and cool.  Even running the sprinkler the hose gets condensation on it because the water is so cool.
No chlorine taste...nothing bad.
So, now the only time I am drinking bottled is still at the gym.  I do miss the added flouride though.

This is true. There really isn't much government regulation about what can or cannot be in bottled water. I worked for a while for a company that sold reverse osmosis systems. You would be amazed at the crap that can be found in some bottled waters.

Whats water???

Hanford has the WORST water known to man, its full of sulfer, yuck.

The tap water here is not so bad as long as you have a LOT of ice in it, then I can drink it. I am not a big fan of bottled water because of the environmental impact.

When i lived in NYC i drank the tap water it was delicious and the best water ever!  Now  i live in the area where their tap water comes from and i have an artesian well and the water stinks - leaves a bad after taste and to me seems oily   i never drink tap anymore and only bottled water. Actually NYC water ranked in the top in the country amongst water - i miss it

Ahhhh  Chicago tap water.  Very good and cold from the tap, I miss it.  Louisville, KY water is pretty good though and it comes out of the hose at the perfect temp to pour over your head on a  95 degree day, not too warm, not too cool, just right.
