Was googling around and got to wondering if any of you watched I dream of Jeanie when you were younger and if so do you think it had any impact on your attitudes.

It changed my view on Genies. I always saw them as muscular Arab looking men. The show made me see that women could be Genies as well. I am surprised that NOW didn't endorse the show.

The show gave me a fondness for the public display of belly buttons that I kept until the lowrise jean craze came along. Way way way too much of a good thing, y 'know?

I watched the show when i was younger and found it fun to watch..

Did it impact me so i became a sub.  No i was always a sub.

Actually, I wanted to BE Jeannie. Major Nelson was HOT.  (Ok, I was a warped child. And now I'm a warped adult. [:D] Yay!)

I wanted to be Jeannie also.  She got to call a hot guy Master all of the time, and dress in sexy clothes, not to mention she could change anything with a nod of her head.
 
It didn't have anything to do with me being a slave, but I enjoyed watching it on Nick@Nite.

Other than that, Roger Healy was pretty damn funny.

I wanted to be Jeanie so I could go here and there in the blink of a nod and have everything my heart desired. I wasn't into having a master at the time and I actually thought Roger was the hot one. [;)]

I watched it, but did it impact me?  No.  But I never did like all of the shit she did to him because she was jealous or mad or thought she knew what was best for him.

He may have held her in servitude, but he was hardly her master in any sense that I've ever seen the term applied to this sort of relationship....... but what do I know?  I'm sure someone will come along and tell us all about how they've tortured and sabotaged their master on a regular basis. [8|]
