my impression- is that males... are quick to think there is an us. [for sex] while females are quicker to think there is an us for LTR. just my observation...

we can't multi-task! thats why there is only one knob on a washing machine and 40 on the average stereo system! also, while you are a pretty little thing, when i got to the third cliche my mind went tilt!! try putting your criteria in front of your request for people to message you, and the dims might register that you are a bit bolshy, and move on to more compliant targets, this is, of course, just my 2 cents, written in the style of the op.

I get them. I deliberately made my profile long, so I would know pretty quickly whether the person bothered to read it or not. If they are halfway polite, & the message doesn't appear to be canned, I will usually reply with a "No thanks". Sometimes, if I have had a lot of emails from those who obviously hadn't read my profile, I will just tell them to please reread my profile. I don't mind email from people looking for friends, but it is pretty easy to weed out the ones, where the people say that is all they want, but really want more. I really, really get annoyed when they ask me to come chat with them. I prefer some interaction with email first before I decide to chat, & maybe later move to talking on the phone. I think some people assume I am just sitting on the computer like a drone with nothing else to do in between. If the emails really annoy you, ignoring them & deleting works well.

Eh, I get the same responses from males and females, Dom and sub alike. In general, there are a lot of peple who dont bother reading profiles, and who go right past them to the pictures. They like the pictures and they are willing t try their luck, see if your profile is up for real or if you are just trying to play hard to get. About half of the mail i get that have obviously not paid a damn but of attenton to my profile reply to my pointing this out with "I read it and thought Id try my luck anyway". Its the mentality of well, thats what they say, but it cant possibly apply to someone as perfect for them as I am. It is not strictly a male thing. It is not strictly a dom or a sub thing. Its an internet thing, and as long as we are online, it will never go away. Delete the worthless, laugh at the funny, share the insane, and only bother with the good stuff. DV
