Status: offline 		Out of curiosity...I was wondering if any fellow subs/slaves work in their homes? I have been trying to figure out some sort of work that I could do in my home rather than working outside of the home. My Master would prefer me to be at home if I could find suitable work and I myself would be happier. Unfortuneatly I am clueless as to what types of jobs that I can do from home that would be easy for me to do/get into. Or even something that I can start on my own as a home business. Any suggestions?

Status: offline 		I have a career and a part time job. I also sew bondage clothing from home. I can do it when I wish....and basically it pays for our vacations.
Could step it up I guess if I cared to..but at the moment I'm happy with what I do.

I had thought about something along that line like making chainmail. I figured I could try it out and make some belts to start just to see if it is something I am good at. I saw a friend making a hood once during his lunch at work and it didn't look hard, just very time consuming. It also looked kinda relaxing.

Status: offline 		That's the way to start. Make something you can make and are passionate about. Wear it to a munch or take it to a party.

I started with fur lined paddles. Moved onto nipple clamps. Fur mittens....I'm a sensation addict.
Thought about going into candles but never could find the proper mold yet. So, I just make them for home in custom scents for now.

Basically I'm a BDSM Martha Stewart. I have a lot of talents.

I know a woman who makes adult baby clothing....she taught a friend of mine who went from making nothing to her mortgage payment off of ebay within a month.

So, I asked as well....she said she'd teach me pants...but the rest was off limits. That is all she taught my friend. Although if I wanted to learn clothing she'd teach me all she knows.
I'm still learning. Once you make whatever you want...it will get easier. You'll learn some shortcuts without affecting the final quality. Word of mouth travels fast within this community.

Status: offline 		Well I know Im been researching online business and most out there are such a scam. Right now im working on selling Bdsm items like crops and buggie whips and sewing custom fetish clothing. Right now is very slow but hope once I get a site up it may pick up. Im also looking into the flea market thing for around here there is probally 15 different ones within a 50 mile radius as well as online auction with Yahoo which is now FREE and charges nothing where EBAY charges so much now. Id love also to hear of anyone else ideas that have been a success. I would love to get a BDSM Coop going.

Status: offline 		There is fetishauctioneer.com as well. Personally though when purchasing things through them I've been ripped off 55% of the time. So, I don't do business with them anymore.

Never tried to sell anything with them...because of the history. The people who did not rip me off were wonderful doing business with though.

It's an idea.

Status: offline 		Well I have sold a few things on Fetish and have bought a lot off of it, Ive never had a problem with them but would rather deal with people direct and not through a site that makes money off of me. I want to be able to keep my prices the lowest possible. After all we all want to save money right. Besides 10 dollars for a good crop is a good deal.
As for Ebay, personaly dont care for it due to bad experiences with the company. They just had a new rate increase which is unbelievable. I think I will stick with Yahoo, Have had great luck with them and amazon so why change a good thing, Just my thoughts.

Status: offline 		I've heard of something, I think it is called medical transctiptioning, you can do from home, doctor's offices will hire out their reports to be typed and I think too it involves insurrance of some type, please feel free to correct me if I am misunderstaning, but that could be soemthing you might look into

Status: offline 		Yes I have friends of mine that do transcription work from their home. They go to work in their bedrooms/dining rooms and type at specific hours and times, just like a "go-to-work" job. Good luck!

Status: offline 		Unfortunately, they usually require that you have two years transcription experience working in a hospital or doctor's office for medical transcription because they require the medical terminology. I used to transcribe depositions, but when I moved to New York, there didn't seem to be as great of a demand for it, as the court reporters tend to do their own transcription.

Status: offline 		Medical transcription requires experience and specialized traning, but there is a lot of transcription out there that is non-medical, focus groups for example.

In fact, a lot of the new software is making the Medical field less lucrative, but is not affecting the other forms of transcription as deeply.

Status: offline 		Dragonmouth software makes software for transcription of legal and medical documents..basically you read the text aloud and it transcribes them digitally in code.....some primary problems are you need next to complete silence for the programs to work correctly hard to do if you have children or animals....speaking from experience here...also most offices are as aforementioned taking on peopel who work form h ome only if they have a resume where they have worked in office for quite sometime...atleast in our area.

Good luck let me know if you find any non scams...I have been looking for months and spent a pretty penny and can't find anything....I would give just about anything to work from home lucratively...but I can't afford to just dabble.

Status: offline 		The company I'm working for (Sales Manager) is actively recruiting MTs to ramp up for a couple new, very large, clients.

They're not paying top rates, but they are guaranteeing a certain amount of work, and money, per week.

A decent Medical Transcription school/training program can get you in the door to get the experience you need to grow with us or move elsewhere, so if you're interested (or anybody else) holler my way.

Status: offline 		I have done transcription, almost all kinds EXCEPT for medical, for the past 12 years. Some of it as an employee and I worked both in the office and out of my home. When I went into the office, I would go in the evening and at a time when I wished to go, and that was transcription combined with editing and writing reports as well.

I worked as an independent contractor for a transcription service in addition to that, doing all kinds of transcription. I type very fast (at least 120 wpm) and am very accurate and was paid by the page and still did not make good money, not to mention that it is very tedious and boring work, which is also why this particular company had a difficult time finding employees/contractors. I've only worked for three companies doing transcription and they all had this problem.

My understanding was that the software now available WAS having an affect on (their) transcription business and they were expecting it to become a much larger affect in the future, but I have not talked to the people who own that company for a while. They did not do medical transcription, but just about everything else.

I'm not sure if you are looking for full time or part time or what kind of money, but I could not do transcription for 40 hours a week and I have been told that most transcriptionists are part time, but I have no idea whether that is true. They all were part time anywhere I have ever worked, with only one exception that I knew of.
