in reading many profiles here, she is taken back with the usage of the words Real and True as defining their positions of status here. Could this be due to being on line that they feel it necessary to write? Having this been my path for many years, there is understanding to the tag of titles, many self poised, unearned.... slaves and subs that has so many hard limits and cry of not being into pain, what is the true reason for even being here? ~serving House of Wolf, Master and beta to Alpha Male Wolf with pride and honor~

*Real* and *true* are valid English words and the backlash they receive comes more from their use by "one true wayers" than any fault of the words themsleves. There is nothing wrong in claiming that one is *real* and/or *true. The problem only comes when people believe that their way of living is the only way to live if one wants to be real* and/or *true*. Who is to say who is true or not? If the two people, or in this case the one person in the profile, feel the need to state they are true or real..what does it matter? They must for some reason feel it needs to be stated. Perhaps because they didn't kneel on the webcam when they were told, or they didn't use "sir" after every sentence, someone told them they weren't a real sub/slave. No one can define what a true/real sub/slave is, they can only define what a sub/slave is to them. ~sin, Masters twue slave

Like I said - forcing your expectations and labels on others is when something becomes a problem. Not all s-types are masochists. Some S- types are Sadists. Some are neither. Your assuming that all BDSM is about pain, it isn't. If it was it would be called PAIN, not BDSM. You are making a judgement and then placing it on all orientations. Making a judgement is all good - forcing the judgement on people you don't know and condemming others because it doesn't conform to your idea isn't good - nope, not at all. You don't understand why people use the word true or real nor do you understand why someone not into pain would be on CM. IMO what you are doing is practicing 'the one TRUE way' mode of seeing the world. I'm not sure if you realise you are coming across as condescending and twue-wayish but several of your posts question peoples judgement and lifestyles. Hopefully you aren't doing this purposefully and will realise that everyone has their own way, and that is a very okay thing [;)] . Like any large group there are divergent personalities & many different reasons for being who they are.

I do not know why they use real or true. it might be a way of telling others they are not players (of course some of them still might be). I am one of those submissives that don't want a lot of pain. Oh does that mean i should delete my account and leave? Well that ain gonna happen. I am here because i WAS (i have one now) looking for a sensual not a sadistic Master. Jerking the thread...sometimes I wonder how far down the Greek alphabet some of those "houses" have to go....wonder if anyone ever makes it to "omega"? Or maybe it's a demotion....you once made it to delta, but after a bad "brat" day, got demoted down to "omega"? Gotta earn your way back up through the ranks of "psi", "chi", "phi", etc.
