{fast reply} I recall days when parents actually taught kids to behave while in public... especially in cases where silence was golden. If kids failed to act properly in public, the parents would correct their behavior or politely excuse themselves & apologize as they left. I know that if any of us (when children) were to act up while in a movie theater, one or both parents would escort us post haste out of the theater (as a courtesy to the others) so that the distraction (noisey kid) would be removed. Why is it now ok for parents to let their kids yell, scream & misbehave thus ruining it for everyone else out enjoying their enterntainment? Is that 9 bucks a pop you dropped at the door really worth blowing the evening of... let's say, the other 100 or so folks who also dropped 9 bucks each at the door? Really who should be the ones waiting for it to come out on DVD? (just for the record... I love children, have no problem with them laughing at the movie or interacting in ways that are completely normal & expected... my comments were about the ones that, well... you know... those blessed little darlings that you just want to...)
