How old is your main profile/avatar photo? By this I mean when was the picture taken, not when did you post the picture. Do you feel that it still accurately represents you? If not, why did you choose it? Have you ever had a negative reaction in meeting someone with the difference between what they thought you would look like and what your photo looks like? If the photo is over a year old, what made you choose an older photograph? Edited to add: My response! Sheesh. My picture is under a month old. I try to keep it updated. My style and look changes fairly frequently, and I like people to have an accurate idea of who they're dealing with. That goes both physically and intellectually.

To the OP: You are discriminating against us without a photo! NO FAIR!!! I demand compensation. A dozen chocolate chip cookies will do. On a more serious note, if I had a pic up, it would be the most recent that I had that didn't include other people (or not so many people that they couldn't be cropped out). But I'm camera & 'net shy, so... no pic. [:)] But, a few years ago, I had one up (taken within the month)... I met a person in rl, who was surprised that the pic was an acutal depiction of me. Theirs wasn't. In a nutshell, 'she' was a definate 'he'. [sm=rolleyes.gif] C'est la vie.

My main is within this past month and the rest are within two months. I think my pictures are pretty accurate to how I am in real life. LaM would be better able to answer that one though.

My main photo is about 3 yrs old but have 1 or 2 newer pics also that are a month old.

The one I just uploaded (waiting for approval) is from a couple of weeks ago but my profile pics are from last winter. Guess I need to get the camera out again!

My pictures span a 5 year period... and no one can ever tell me which are the older ones and the younger ones... I dont change much.

mine were all taken since last september, the first one (my avatar) is as inaccurate as it was when it was taken... laying on my back, stretched out like that, makes my belly disappear... but a couple of others show it to bad advantage

Mistress has placed a different collar on me from the one in the pic, that is more discreet and appropriate for my profession. Aside from that, everything is the same. (Pic you see here was taken in mid-May)

My pic is from January of this year. My profile pic has always been variation on a torso, always wearing the same camisole. I'm about 10 pounds heavier than that pic, but other than that, it's me. I am not brave enough to post a face pic. And if I did, I know that I wouldn't like it and I'd obsess over it, so it's better this way, I can be mysterious. Or as domi would say, dog like. hehe

My first picture is about 10 months old. The rest of them are a few months. Nothing has changed about be except my hair is a bit longer now than it is in the first picture.
