Okay, I attended a collaring over the weekend, and I'm going to be going to one on the first.

However, m'lady and I are going to be collaring a new slave probably in two years. She has already pledged herself to us fairly bindingly, but circumstances have forced her to move to the other side of the nation for a while. She's coming back, and I want to start writing something.

So I would like ideas.

I know a few things, I'm going to be making her collar. It will lock on the buckle. It will most likely be one of the ones that fall in the hollow of her throat and be smooth around the back. It will be attended by the local community, one which she has been active in as a top since she could not participate in it as a sub. She is Gorean trained.

Any ideas? I mean anything, from scene to music, to ceremony to vows.

Does she want any Gorean influence on the ceremony? Do her owners? (i don't have any knowledge of specific Gor collaring info)
Is she to be naked? Dressed? if so, could a simple costume be devised?
Is she to speak? would she memorize a vow to each person? are there any special phrases that the three of you use regularly?
Do you want to signify that she subs to you both or just to your Lady?
I've only heard of one such ceremony where the sub crawled a short distance, into the room, up to her 2 owners, one of which was also a sub who remained kneeling before their owner who was seated on like a barstool, for height. The sub who crawled spoke last and vowed her desire for loyalty and servitude to each in succession. She made different vows to each person. She spoke from the heart and memory, of herself before they entered her life, her new life with them, her dreams being realized and fulfilled. She also wore a white shift that allowed her crawling and showed her neck prettily with flowers in her hair. It was very 'wedding-y'. Do you want it to seem/be spiritual?
I personaly would draw from your relationship for ideas on the scene. I don't know if it's appropriate at a collaring to do anything that would constitue s/m other than branding but I would want something...Wax play even! From a 'unity' candle? Perhaps she could be bound to an 'altar' and worship you both? ;) who knows... I find foot bathing with petal covered water and kissing both of your feet to be nice as she's collared but with one collar and one lock who's going to place it and who's going to lock it?
Music is highly personal. No suggestions there. Other than, Chariots of Fire is probably OUT. lol
