Looking around my bathroom,I look at the plethora of shaving instruments which I use from day to day,be that an old Rolls razor or one of the two cut throat razors,I like to use blades which I take the care to hone,strop and keep,well,razor sharp.I know how to use these ancient shaving implements far superior to a mach 3 and enjoy the ritual of shaving,what with the different brushes,boar bristle or badger bristle depending on the mood,then the lather and finally the blade. Now the thought occured maybe I have a shaving fetish,and I can think of delightful uses with my implements,brushes and blades besides keeping myself looking respectable. So I would like to hear from others who enjoy the ritual of shaving,would they consider their interest a fetish and does anyone incorporates their interest into BDSM play,and would like to offer any suggestions that might be of interest to others here besides myself on what can be done besides the daily chore many dislike?

A number of people like to make shaving or other hair-removal a requirement for submissives or slaves. Many seem to think sharp objects around tender parts are hot, and straight razors are sharp. Others--mostly femdom/malesub, it seems--like shaving as a service activity, rendered to the dominant. And, too, it seems like quite a lot of kinky people have a taste for the look and feel of de-haired pubic regions, although this seems to be more about the results of shaving than about the process, so it may not appeal to your thread. Me, I like the results a great deal, for myself and on others. I'm not crazy about the process, although I don't actively dislike it; it's been a habit now for a long while, and is simply part of daily grooming.

I don't have a shaving fetish, but I love sharp things, and I enjoy using a straight razor. A good friend and I did a scene recently where I shaved his head bald for him using my straight razor, and then caned him until he'd have marks to carry with him for his weeks with the Reserves annual service. ~mmmmm~ I use disposable blades for my straight razor ~lazy~ but even so there is something hot about such delicious sharpness. Was the demo bottom for a local group when they did a shaving demo a few years back, and am delighted enough to have the photo illustration of the scene. Wheeee!

Sorry dude, I want my implements to be practical, available and quick. And I shave only when the mood strikes. I've seen more than a few pairs of raised eyebrows at seeing actual pubic hair in the pubic region at play parties.

I'm one of those (apparently rare) Doms who is turned off by bare pussy. But a neat "landing strip" on the female anatomy looks so hot to me that I'd go so far as to call it a fetish of mine. Wonder if its got a special name? Focus.

i love to shave someone else, and have gotten good over the years of doing a complete shave, have yet to master shapes, though

I do very much enjoy the "ritual of shaving" despite using a Venus or Mach3 blade. Sometimes I do it and don't think anything of it, but most times I like to set up the bath in just the right way, shave in just the right way... Enjoying each aspect of the act of hair removal.

I hate shaving because my skin is so sensitive down there that it makes me bleed. Daddy demands it though and I want to please daddy.

I hear ya hideandseek. Doesn't bother me during the actually shaving, but the next day the damn itching starts. I shave my legs and underarms on a regular basis. Nobody thinks anything of someone scratching their leg. Itching in the pelvic region requires constant trips to the ladies room, unless of course you want everyone to think you have crabs..

I prefer nair to an actual balde, aside from for touch ups and sensative areas. I have shaved Angel once, and he said the itching was unbearable and hasnt let me get near him again. He's lucky I still give him the option. As for me, I prefer to stay short if not hairless, though when i get supremely lazy I have no problem going out without even tending to the landscaping on my legs.

Nair doesn't enflame your skin down there? I tried using Nair on my pelvic region once and instead of removing the hair, my skin turned red and burned for hours. Have no problems with Nair in other areas, so I'm not allergic to it. I'd love to use hair remover down there if I could find something that wouldn't enflame my skin.

I count myself inside the ones with that fetish, in both sides, shaving a Lady or being shaved by one to fits her preferences, and well the aplicance of alcohol after the shaving is good to keep the skin out of infections and the little burn sensation is just refreshing.
