I just signed up for this site and want to get my name out here for everyone to see.
I have many 2nd and 3rd degree burn scars on my face, chest, arms, some on my stomach and different kind of scars from skin graft donar sites on my upper legs. Those are more healed and are more uniform in nature where as my chest which has the most scaring is less uniform.

I have been with a couple men who were burned very badly. The last was still going through surgeries to correct it. You will find someone who doesn't care about that, and I found it to be sexy at times. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply, Already since I've signed up about 3 hours ago I have been chatting with a woman who seems quite nice. ussualy I don't get any messages from sites like these, so far shes sent me 9.

May I just take this opportunity to say how wonderfully brave I think you are.
And I sincerely hope all that read about and see you can have the same non judgemental, caring approach as your devoted cat. If only we could all be so accepting of what is on the inside....

Isn't it wonderful what they can do now with reconstructive surgery these days. One of my twins received second and third degree burns as a 1 1/2 yr old and it took like three surgeries and debreedment to get it to look somewhat passable at that time, he is now 21 yrs old. The scar I think made him the young man that he is today, because as I am sure you have experienced the stares and the questions and all that goes with these type of injuries. It is a testiment to your character that you do not let it stop you from living and searching to fulfill your desires. I wish you the best in finding that perfect one for you, she is out there.

Thanks for your story. I myself have had over 50 surgeries, but quite a lot of them were from my first doctor being very bad in the reconstruction field and my later doctor having to re-do everything. If only my family and I would have known at the time how huge the skill difference is between reconstructive plastic surgeons I would be a lot better off.

Hi :) I just wanted to say, that once I saw a young man swimming who had half of his body scared from burns, and i thought it was the most beautiful thing imaginable. Hope you are well ;)

Welcome to the forums.

My dad had to go through skin grafts, for other reasons. I know how painful they can be just from what he went through.

The outside doesn't matter, it's what's on the inside. And beauty, no matter whether it's inside or flesh wise, can never be hidden no matter how many scars we may get in this lifetime. :) And not all scars are the ones on the outside. :)

Adorable cat you have in your profile picture. I've several cats myself. (cat magnet) LOL I seem to attract the ones here where I live.
