At least neither of you has a kitten that thinks her permanent resting place is on your shoulder, no matter what you happen to be doing at the time. But I miss her because she couldn't come with when I moved.

Hey, I don't know what Beach is complaining about. At least her cat lets her close the bathroom door and pee in peace. None of my cats would allow that!

LoL, this kitten isn't a percher, thank heavens! But he does feel that my feet are chew toys. I'm sorry you had to leave your cat when you moved. I just had to give up mine because he couldn't be seperated from the other cat in the household (plus my former housemate is quite attached to him, and I felt bad taking him away and leaving the ex housemate alone) hense the kitten.

I got away with closing the bathroom door today, but tonight was a different story. We locked him out of the bedroom for a bit of intimate time. He battered the door open (this hell beast weighs 2.6 lbs.) Next thing I know my foot is being chewed.. Not in the least romantic/erotic!

By the by... my baby follows me everywhere... eats things that are not (well, at least shouldn't be) edible... and perches. He's such a naughty little monster. But when he curls up in my lap, stares up at me with huge blue eyes and starts to purr... he knows Mum will forgive just about anything.

I should figure out how to toss a picture of the baby up as well. Gizmo ought to come out and play a bit.

Oh! He's beautiful! Lilac Point or blue point? (It's hard to tell from the photo.) I've always loved apple head siamese.

Bet he talks a lot! We almost renamed Pooka to Banshee the first few days we had him, but luckily he stopped the incessant loud caterwauling.

LMAO, yeah.. hate when they want to be picked up when you're "busy." The other day, we ended up putting off "playing" till the kitten fell asleep, so he'd not mistake poor Greg's balls for a chew toy. (The other day Greg was lying shirtless on the floor. Pooka climbed up on him and latched onto his nipple. VERY funny from my end of it, not quite so funny from Greg's.) Yeah.. we're whupped.. we know who the real Dominant in the household is.. LMAO

I'm so susceptible to a yawn, that even my 2 year old granddaughter will get the devil in her, and come up to grandma, and just keep mouth open in a yawn until I notice, then i'm off.....as I type, just thinking about it, I just yawned, lol......

He's my pride and joy. I know he's a Siamese but I've never really known what sort. He's a shelter kitty.

He was actually scalped when we first brought him home. Someone or something had shaved off the fur on the top of his head. And he'd managed to get it infected. Poor little thing. We used antibiotic ointment and he was so sad looking - always trying to get someone to give his little head scratches. We tried using kitty safe anti-itch cream, but I don't know how well it worked.

Then he had eye infections... and what seemed to be a very nasty, nasty kennel cough. Mummy was quite protective of the little bugger. I fussed and carted him around and jumped when he sneezed or coughed. (Heh... the Mommy in me can't stand seeing him hurt or sick!)

He's sort of like a parrot. I can hold him over my shoulder and he holds on by himself. Well... actually he sort of just goes limp over my shoulder. And I can walk around, do things with both hands and never have to worry about him. But I think he enjoys it most when I'm holding him in my arms.

He meows, trills, purrs, growls, hisses and makes all sorts of strange noises. And when he hears someone at the front door he HAS to greet them. He's the most affectionate Siamese I've ever heard of. It doesn't matter who comes to the door... he must come and say hello... loudly. A lot. -grins-

He also has an affinity for sitting in cardboard boxes. He sees a box and he's in it two seconds later, peaking over the edge - waiting to swat someone.

I'd better shush or I'll write a book. Anyway... Mummy is oh so very much his pet. And he knows I adore him. The brat.

Dahlia can I come over lol I LOVE cats specially friendly ones.

when he hears someone at the front door he HAS to greet them. He's the most affectionate Siamese I've ever heard of. It doesn't matter who comes to the door... he must come and say hello... loudly. A lot. -grins-

I needed those tips two years ago! My Dom gives me no peace at all if the bathroom door is closed!

He is very aggressive/possessive and will actually bite males who touch me in his presence.

Oh, now I have to add pictures of my baby. Princess Mononoke (Japanese mythology for those of you that are interested), or Mo for short. She is the loudest cat I have ever heard and rather snotty. I love her to death, but she only loves when she wants to
