Talked to him again for an hour and a half or so. He's already preparing to meet Holly, which right now we are planning for next Wednesday (I'm going to bring him home from work with me, then take him back on Thursday, cuz he doesn't have Thursday off).

He's very cute, and showing more and more submissive traits all the time.

You know, I never, ever date people I work with for this exact reason. I once went through a year's worth of sexual tension with one of my directors and we went at it like mad right after his going away party :) That was many years ago.

That said, we need to look at the whole picture sometimes and see what the implications are. Just yesterday, someone who I have a business relationship with asked if I'd like to meet him for a drink. Now I know this person is fond of me, but to which degree I have no idea. Well ok, I have a strong hunch that he has a thing for me. The flirting is pretty intense. You know, the business emails with lots of winks and smiles and off-topic things…

I personally find him absolutely adorable and brilliant but at the same time, I have to be conscious of the long term repercussions of letting him catch a glimpse of the intimate world of Lady Angelika ;)

Status: offline 		Well, I know for a fact that he is not too freaked out by the whole situation, as he started making alterations in prep for meeting Holly last night while I was talking to him on the phone LOL

There is also the issue that if things work out between us, he will have to change jobs because if he moves in with us, he can't work for the county jail anymore (he has to live in the same county that he works for, so he'll have to transfer to the county that our house is in), so we won't be working together anymore.

I have honestly never tried dating anyone that I've worked with before ... and yes, it may be the biggest mistake I've ever made. But it could also work out great, and after talking to him, I'm willing to take the risk.

Exactly. You can venture down many roads. It's just always important to do a risk assessment.

When I go out on a date with someone who I have no other links to, it's not so bad because if it doesn't workout, the likelyhood of having to deal with them again is small. When it can compromise something, then it's a different story and really needs to be assessed.

And when someone is interesting to you, it is worth looking into it. This person who asked me out who I have a business relationship with is not a co-worker, but he is someone I have to deal with at least once a month. I just need to get an idea that this has a snowball's chance in hell before I even go there. But that is why I'm meeting him for a drink ;)

Status: offline 		Update - Last night at work, I had no time to eat, and I thought about calling S to bring me food, but then I remembered that he has his mini-Ses (and yes, they all three look like him) and he wouldn't be able to bring the food up to me and I had no time to go down and get it.

So after work, I called him (waking him up, which I felt bad about but he said not to worry about it) and asked him if he had food because I hadn't had time to eat and I was starving. He said "sure, no problem" and started giving me directions to his house. So I got there, all three mini-Ses were asleep (of course ... it was midnight or so by this time) and he fixed me food. He also showed off his tatoos (very cool). Then we sat down together and he gave me a back rub and a foot rub. During the back rub he bit my back, which was weird, and I told him to watch leaving marks. He appologised and behaved himself for awhile.

So we ended up going upstairs to one of the bedrooms and cuddling and making out (yeah, I know ... very highschool LOL ). I already had my shirt off from the backrub and he bit me again - this time he did leave a mark. So I have a bite mark on the top of one of my boobs that I had to tell Holly about (I warned him that we might be in trouble since I really had only intended to go over and hang out and get some food ... not fool around - thankfully, I don't think I'm actually in trouble).

So, yeah, that's the latest update. I doubt that anything will happen after work tonight, but Sunday night, we both work doubles, and I've already told him that he may have to come pick me up so that I can sleep for awhile at his place before I go home (16 hours of work plus an hour commute each way does not equal a safe drive home).

Status: offline 		Congratulations, glad it's working out!!!!!Wish me luck, was at a vanilla swinging party on Saturday, and the host knows very little about the lifestyle, but knows of some of my interests. Near the end of the party, he got a bowl of warm water, washed and massaged my feet, legs in private...then when I went to where rest of group was sitting, sat at my feet while everyone finished visiting. I am definitely intrigued. When we discussed, he said he had heard mention another site I am on, so he checked out the profile, and has seen one of my threads on a forum on the vanilla swingers site that mentioned castlerealm. He is a truck driver, but still managed to read a little on his own before that party. We shall see!!!!!

Well, at this point for us, Holly has given her blessing to date, and she will get to know him while he's dating me. He's still not so sure about the D/s and BDSM, but definitely willing to try. When he calls after work tonight, I'm supposed to ask him if he wants to come up on Sunday and go on a 'double date' with me, Holly and rob.

Now I just have to wait for permission to have sex with him ...

In other news, our first boy, rob, is currently in the hospital awaiting surgery to have his gall bladder removed. We aren't for sure when his surgery is, but it is going to put him out of commission for the next few weeks (which is bad because we are trying to move and he is already pissed that he's not going to be able to help us clean tomorrow). So all plans for going out on Sunday have been cancelled, all plans for the next few weeks are on hold, including moving (S was going to help us move this weekend ... but now we aren't going to be able to).

So ... good news and bad news ... unfortunately it doesn't seem like we can have any good without bad following *sigh*.

Status: offline 		Well, I wish rob the best. I was in the hospital for day of surgery plus one when they removed my gallbladder, and I was moving around (very slowly, smiles) by day 4. They seem to perform surgeries to facilitate quicker recuperation rates. You will all be in my thoughts, and keep us updated on rob, please....

Status: offline 		He's home, no surgery - he's to call on Monday to reschedule (temp went down, pain is now tolerable - and they weren't going to call in a surgical team on a Saturday because it would be way too expensive, especially for someone paying out of pocket).
