I just got back from seeing it and yep, they left a LOT out {400 pages or so}, some important stuff, but for my fellow 'ladies' who are obsessed with few 'gentlemen' in the movie, yummmmmmmmmmy; it could have done with a bit more Gary Oldman in my opinion. Ok, onto the good stuff.... This was a decent representation of the book, I would have prefered the movie run at least 3 more hours {lol} since then you would have gotten more info and been able to dive into a few thigns a bit more, but, it was good. The casting was great, the special effects were INCREDIBLE. When Harry flies to Headquarters, was incredible, as well as the the Ministry of Magic and that pivital scene at the end. I still cried at the scene when Siris died [I warned you, I have spoilers in this], you really do see his relationship with Harry through out the movie, and just before he is killed Siris calls Harry 'James.' When LV posessed Harry, you get to see an indeapth view into things that were not there before. I won't put up a full 'movie review' on here, I have one already done, I just need to proof it before I post it up this evening on lj and 360. I would have liked to see more of the Order and of Tonks, as well as St. Mugos, but, whatyagonnado?! I'm off to finish reading my current book, then start on Half Blood Prince. Did any one else see the movie?? Thoughts??
