Krissi....what you're describing actually sounds like restless leg syndrome....i have it too, and it's enough to drive someone nuts! I've gotten up and literally walked around the block to make the pins/needles, "I just have to MOVE!" sensations go away. Talk to your doctor about it, there are drugs that you can take to ease the sensations. My mom's is terrible....she's literally been up for days because she can't lay down. I'm not sure if it's common to diabetics, my mom doesn't have diabetes, just that.

restless leg syndrom sucks! I have it too...I shake all night some nights trying to get rid of it. My husband often rubs my legs for me...it helps some. I usually wind up taking tylenol pms to knock me out when it is really bad.....blech! I feel for ya!

I've had this leg issue too -- I use calcium and magnesium about an hour before going to bed -- no problems then. Some of the restlessness has to do with losing calcium from the muscle tissues, and the supplements take care of that issue for Me.

I LOVE that bed. I have a friend who is a millwright, I might have to talk to him about building me one. :D Jersey, I think you should definitely talk to your doctor, and see if it's a side-effect of the diabetes or an unrelated problem. Either way, no doubt you can find meds to help (not that you want to use meds if it's avoidable, I know). Maybe once you know what it is, there might be an acupressure or acupuncture treatment for it...

This is a great site and i have ordered many things from there as has my Dom..since they are so close to me everything comes overnight with no extra charge if in stock..but i never saw that bed before..wow neat! Their customer service on the phone is superior too. rhonda[:)]

I have had a tempur pedic bed for several years now, and wouldn't have anything else. It's fabulous!

thankyou for all the great advice- taking some tylenol does seem to relieve the pain long enough for me to atleast get into a sound sleep[:)]
