I have long made a habit of avoiding these sites like that plague. It seems that no women really meet the criteria I'm looking for in a domme and those that do have been so harrassed by overbearintg males that they're disgusted by every message that they receive. I am not an overbearing asshole and not someone who will immediately act like a sub when we don't even know eachother. Check out my profile. I tried to make it fairly detailed.

What's the point of finding someone who isn't right for me? I'm not going to deceive some poor girl into thinking I'm her little bitch only to discover that I'm a defiant bastard. It's best to be honest. I'd rather not find anyone than find someone who isn't right for the job.

I totally agree that one needs to be honest ...I am wondering though....what attracts you to D/s?
Why are you looking for a Mistress?
What makes you believe that you are a submissive?
What will a Mistress get out of her relationship with you?
How will you know when you have met the right Mistress for you?
At the risk of stating the obvious if you are regularly defying someone where is the submission?

Just some questions for you to have a think about... or not.

I want to serve a worthy mistress. Just because I have a little discretion and won't throw myself to the ground for any control-freak with breasts doesn't nullify my submissive tendencies. I want to be lorded over by someone who deserves me, not by the first bidder.

A challenge. Let's flip your last question around and ask them, "What makes you believe you are a dominant?" If a person consents to be ruled by you then they're just a tool, like a hammer or a wrench. They serve whatever function you want them to. I am, as I said, like a paiting. My quality is defined by your skill level. So, if the mistress is great, then I will be great. If the mistress is weak, then I will wind up dominating her (it's happened before).

How will you know when you have met the right Mistress for you?

When I find someone who understands that dominance is about struggle, not compliance.

Oops I did it again (to quote some popstar!) .... I forgot to preface my last post on this thread by saying that the questions were purely for yourself and that I wasn't expecting you to answer them on here.

I don't know if it is that there is less room for deviance or that sometimes people want to believe that kinksters will be significantly more tolerant than others and are then disappointed to find that they are no more and no less tolerant than other people.

Maybe you could add some of your replies here to your profile...it will give dommes more of an understanding of yourself. Again, only a suggestion.

ps. There is no reason for you to feel that my questions will be frequently directed to you, I am an equal opportunity poster.
