Yup, simply being obnoxious and rude doesn't equal dominant. Uncouth behavior also doesn't strike me as very dominant, either--a touch of vulgarity here and there is nice, but in my view it works best as an accent, not a base.

However, there are some qualities that self-described dominants have in common with other-described bitches--"bitch" tends to be a word applied derisively to confident, exacting, hard-working, authoritative women, and those are qualities possessed by many dominant women. Too, some women like to "reclaim" words like "bitch" and "cunt" (rather like the GLBT community reclaiming "queer").

And, yes, some women who identify as dominant lack certain social skills, and that's unfortunate. Alas, that's true of just about any category--kinky or otherwise.

Hmmmm wonder if I fall into the bitch or nice category.  There are some days I work hard at being a bitch and other days I am just too sweet.

I guess that's life. Some nice subs/slaves and others that are soo rude, arrogant and act as if they doing Me a favour by chatting to Me. Both sides have the good, the bad and the ugly.

I take it your ideal restaurant would not be a vegetarian place ;-)

Actually, you'd be wrong.  I have so much meat at home that when I go out, it's the vegetable/vegetarian dishes I often choose.   If you think about it, with an entire freezer already full of the highest possible quality meat, it makes fuck-all sense to go to a steakhouse.  Why would I pay $20 to $50 for a dry aged steak or a wild game platter or a rack of organic local lamb when I already have 50 lbs of the best in my freezer, and I can cook it as well or better?   I appreciate a good chef's skills to be sure, and they're often better demonstrated with simple and fresh food such as vegetables.
