scerets are a burden
they lay like fine webbing around your heart
they cause you to breathe half-truths --
like dust cascading through rays of sunlight
and they keep you bound
urging to be brought to life!
against your will, in spite of your common sense
you find yourself relquishing to their demands --
to be punished, to be controlled, to be made to whimper
in shame -- of your need for release
it is your scerets that will compell you
to find your way to Me,
naked, on knees, begging
offering to surrender, offering please
knowing that only by the trial of submission
will your scerets be for a little while, lulled to sleep
