octavia -> Cherished? (7/15/2007 9:09:48 PM)

I was just reading a post by another member and the way the poster talked about thier sub got me to thinking about Cherish.  Clearly he cherishes her. [:)]  It got me to thinking, I know that being cherished is not unique or speicifc to bdsm relationships, but how it is communicated and expressed may be different that vanilla.
So if you cherish or are cherished, how does it manifest itself in your relationship?

thanks in advance for taking the time to answer,
[:)]octavia[:)]

although he's very, very good at expressing how important and loved I am, it's very often manifested in non-verbal ways.  he can be very gentle when he wants to be.

I'd say more but I don't want to get all mushy. [:)]

i know i am cherished when i am beaten on a regular basis [:D] and i am guessing thats a little different than a 'nilla relationship

It would take pages and pages to explain how he shows he cherishes me even through one single day.  To explain how he shows he cherishes me since we met would simply be impossible and do him injustice.  And everyone else would get bored and want to start barfing pretty quickly as well.

But he does, and it is amazing.
