I am going to ask a personal question and would like honest feedback from those who would like to share the views they have. I would like to ask the masters how they made giving a collar to a slave unique. What was it like? I appreciate any and all responses. John

We were together alone, I was on the bed naked and kneeling. He asked me if I knew what the collar meant, and if I wanted to belong to him, I told him, "Yes, Master..I want to be yours". He then put the collar around my neck...followed by a wonderful couple of days of constant wonderful use. It wasn't fancy, but as you can see, it's not hard for me to remember. Just make it special for you, don't worry so much about the frills..what matters is that she is becoming yours. In the end, that will mean more than anything. Sin

I wrote it. I gave it to her to revise. I revised it again. I designed a slider for the collar. She found a better idea, so I used it. I had the slider made to my specs and put it on the street collar we liked. I had a leather play collar made to individual specs. We went away for three days. The beginning. Respectfully, ProfJoe

The people taking part in a ceremony make it unique. The way you dress, how you act, what is said...these are all fluid things within the confines of the ceremony because each person is different. Even those saying the same exact words will make them different due to inflection, etc. This is why there are set formats to rituals like weddings...and each one is different. Master Fire

I hand made a Macrame collar and presented it to my Master (on my knees), as a tangable offer of submission. He quietly took it from me and placed it around my neck, it was kind of a choke collar, breath play is a limit for me with all but those I trust the most. So he knew that my submision had come to a huge new level. I have 3 rules for accepting a collar (well now its probably 4) 1. Do I trust him with my life 2. Do I trust him with my heart and soul 3. Is he offering me at least a small piece of his heart since Im now Married to my Master the 4th rule would be is this something my Primary Master Partner would agree to. . . I think the first three rules are a good guide for the giving and recieving of at least what is called the Commitment Collar or the Life Collar. BTW I did say Obey in my Nilla wedding vows, and although when I call myself a collared submissive I'm mainly talking about my current Master. I also have a lifetime friendship collar with my friend Wolfie a switch friend I dated and played with a long time before my current Master. His Collar I also on ocasion wear with pride, particularly when I am out and about without my Master and wish to remind myself of the safty rules Wolfie instilled in me. (besides its really really cool its made of chain mail and he made it himself one link at a time. Okies Ive gotten to rambling now but I think my points have been made. i arranged our Collaring at our favorite Dungeon in chicago. it was made a public event for All to witness with our friends as part of the Ceremony. we had a Mistress of Ceremonies,her closests friends were there for her to hold the Collar and bracelets,we also had the hand fasting,the ring of fire.

[:)] To JBerg: It is truly what you want to make of it- simple or elaborate celebration, rope or steel chain. I still feel odd when I look at it (leather collar from the night of the actual event). Its special and I cant wear it when He's not around. He bought me another- for "everyday" wear (its more like jewelry) at work. Its another powerful reminder..
