knees2you -> Are You Normal? (6/22/2005 4:43:42 PM)

This is a test just to see how Normal
We are?
Most of us think of ourselves as being normal,
But let this test decide~

I hope this goes thru, I'm not as normal as I thought~

Sincerely, Ant

This quiz is a good way to get spam. I recommend an e-mail address that you don't care if you get spam or not.

Anyway, here are my results.

Your Normalcy Quotient is: 51 out of 100.

What really counts is how your score compares to those of your normal or not so normal group of friends. Don’t forget to forward them this email so you can compare results.

You are a Wonderful Eccentric
You’ve earned the title of wonderful eccentric, and while you’re not a wild, gun slinging maverick, you certainly like to follow your own way.

Did you know that approximately twenty-four percent of people escape the mainstream of city life and live outside a metropolitan area? Also, children live in only one third of U.S. households. As of 2003, there were over one hundred and eleven million households in the U.S. Approximately, seventy-six million householders own their domicile, and about thirty-four million people rent.

Most people own televisions, but are you eccentric enough to get a television bigger than the Sony Power Tron TV? This enormous television was unveiled in Tsukuba, Japan in 1985, and it measured at eighty feet by one hundred and fifty feet. It was part of the International Exposition that showcased in Japan that year.

One eccentric who didn’t follow the road most traveled was Albert Einstein. When he was going to the Institute of Technology in Zurich, Einstein often missed classes while working in the library or the laboratory. He had to rely on his friend Marcel Grossman to take notes for him in the classes that he missed. Einstein of course went on to formulate the Theory of Relativity. And conventional wisdom would have told you to go to class every day!

Of course, you probably don’t think of yourself as eccentric. As Einstein might say, “It’s all relative.”

Remember: Chatter Bean quizzes are non-scientific, non-fat and pretty much just non-sense. They are meant solely for entertainment purposes and are not intended to provide an accurate evaluation of……well of anything.

Your Normalcy Quotient is: 63 out of 100.

You are a Quirky Character
You’ve found yourself mostly in the middle of the road, but you have enough quirky habits to not be entirely normal. It is normal to have a job. In January 2005, the unemployment rate was about five percent, which means that ninety-four percent of the country is hard at work. The unemployment rate has actually decreased from the overall average for 2004, which was five and a half percent.
On average, most people also own a home, and the median home value in 2004 was $121,800. Did you know that a median home value was upwards of $210,000 in California? But if you ever think about making a leap far from quirky into full blown crazy, you can try to beat the cost of the Hearst Castle at San Simeon, CA. William Randolph Hearst built this amazing home. It is the most expensive house ever built at a cost equivalent to over two hundred and seventy-six million dollars in today’s money!
College enrollment continues to hit new highs, as college education is becoming an increasingly normal pursuit. The National Center for Education Statistics anticipates an eleven percent increase in enrollment between 2003 and 2013.
You’re probably glad to be more than ordinary, but you’re normal enough to fit in. Sounds like a perfect balance.

There was no checkbox for those of us who work at home taking care of loved ones. We live in a rented unit not a suburban house. We are not in debt. We live together we are not married (yet). I'm taller than the average American female. We don't own all the latest hi-tech gear which presumably is why we're not in debt [;)]

Your Normalcy Quotient is: 77 out of 100.

You are a Charming Conformist

Congratulations. You’re pretty normal by all our standards, but here are some other facts about normal that you might not know. Sixty-six percent of people in the U.S. own their home. Women make up fifty point nine percent of people in the U.S. Sixty-eight percent of U.S. citizens live in a family household. Also, it is very normal to live near a metropolitan area. Three out of four people make their homes near citified regions. The average debt for people nationally is $11,224.

It seems to be normal that there is usually something that a person doesn’t like about his/her body, but is there a body part that you love and for which you would get an insurance policy? Actress Cyd Charisse, who starred in Singin’ in the Rain, insured her legs for five million buck-a-roos. That equates to around forty-eight million dollars in today’s money and is definitely not normal.

While it’s not completely normal yet, there is a growing trend toward gaining your education via the Internet. In the late nineties, only one point seven percent of people earned their degrees online, and by 2001, that had nearly doubled to three point one percent. However, according to the U.S. Department of Education, it is becoming quite normal to seek higher education and more people are conforming to the popular belief that a higher education means a higher salary.

Of course, the definition of normal is always changing, and before you know it, you may very well be one of the exceptional exceptions.

kc692 -> RE: Are You Normal? (6/27/2005 7:22:38 AM)

Scary: I got 75 out of 100- so, the same as sweeticing, I am a charming conformist.....have never been accused of being a conformist before in my life, lol.....

LA, don't worry, apparently I am a hair more normal than you... never knew Dommes were normal, LMAO!!

mnottertail -> RE: Are You Normal? (6/28/2005 1:07:27 PM)

I have waited a little to tell you the rest of this joke. My score was embarressingly high.....higher than anyones so far. So high in fact that I will not report it here, even I have limits to my hypocrasies. Now this intimates to me that this little test does not take into consideration the fact that many psychopaths such as my self have an affinity to cover up their sociopathic behaviors. However; I have not yet plumbed the depths of my debauchery. If this note has called to mind some perverted monster, I would hope that you would think of me more as Jack the Ripper; who; in the fullness of time and patina of confundity is a more romantic figure that say a Ted Bundy.

P.S. GreyStorm, sorry about the keyboard..........perhaps our very own proudsub (keeper of the archives) will direct you to the threads concerning the inadvisablity of imbueing liquids whilst reading forums..........LOL)
