Im not sure if this has been posted before, because I dont generally ever get on the message board. Anyway, lately I have been bombarded with emails from people who have their profile set as DOMINANT - yet they message Me saying "I know my profile says Im Dom, but really..Im not - I recently realized who I am." WTF is this? It irks Me to pieces! I have thought about just putting all dom mail in My bulk folder.. but often there a few nice Dom friends who write just to say hi.. so Id have to end up going through the bulk mail folder and weeding them out anyway. Just wanted to see if any fellow Mistress' get these asses. MT

Holy God/dess YES! I am SO effin' sick and tired of those wankers, you have NO idea. In fact, one day I got so pissed off with the idiot types I went on a journal rant. I don't think it's any worse than submissive men who "want to explore submission" or whatever. I don't even check orientations that much when people contact me. Being Dom ID'd and wanting to bottom or sub doesn't automatically signify "asshole" any more than anything else, but I'm sure the majority are wankers 'cause the majority are always wankers, or girl wankers.

oh i hate that... or how about the profiles says the person is a switch or bisexual, and when you ask them, "oh no, that is wrong but the site wouldn't let me change it"... Why cant ppl just be honest and post on their profiles... "I'll be anything you want as long as i get some"....

you'd think that somebody just acknowleging from the start that they are a switch would be more appreciated, but when you do a search for subs or Dommes looking for switches, it's much lower. Doesn't pay to be honest, but i'd still rather be it. more fun in the long run.

Oh yes and very often. I just tell them no thanks. These are usually guys who have a fantasy of "domming a Domme". Rarely are they actually realizing they are submissive by nature, although I am sure some are bottoms. ~Lashra

That's the way it plays out in my head, but maybe you raised a genuine fear of a Domme being Dom'd. I think that some Dom's are equally afraid of being Dom 'd by a Domme. I work with strong Dominant male managers and i sense their fear of a strong business woman. Also, they tend to have what appears to be submissive wives. which is all fine and good, but that explains to me why a Domme may not be interested in a switch.

I get this all the time..and like someone mentioned..sometimes they are sincere. I took it upon myself to tell these men to post it on their profile if they are serious about exploring their sub side.. But it doesnt matter. Truth is they will come back at you with a Sub profile.. The only way to really know is to meet them,and sometimes they turn out to be very confused. A better way to do this is to find the closest BDSM club and join. Good luck. Remember having balls dosnt mean that they can not change their minds too...LOL

I've never experienced much tension or battle of wills with people who are switches but were serving me. They seem to gravitate to me because they know how it's going to go and that's what they want, so why fight that or play head games? I've had far more problems with people who ID as submissive and NEEEVER anything else but have narrow expecations of what my behavior's supposed to be in response to that.

I actually found this out from a slave who was looking for a Domme. She told me she was uncollared, but I found out later this was not the case. She was indeed collared and her Master told her to find a Domme who would be naive enough to meet her at a hotel. Once there his plan was to forcibly Dom the Domme. No consent, just assault and rape. In her Master's defense she claimed many Dom's wanted to do this. Luckily for me I move VERY slowly with relationships and so found this out prior to any meeting. It has made me very uneasy about meeting sub/slave fems to be honest. But its something I am sure I will get over. ~Lashra
