Just a warning on the veet, I've gotten burned by it so test it on a safe area first.

Did you try the Veet for sensitive skin? That is the one I use when pixel can't shave me.;)

I have still doesn't work, I guess I must suffer having to shave. hehe I'm thinking of trying it again. :)

I apologize if I am out of place here since I am not a Domme but I say if you want to use a depilatory then I would suggest Veet. Nair has burned my skin every single time I have used it. Especially on my bikini area. But Veet is excellent on sensitive skin. Personally, I prefer to shave. I feel like shaving gets the hair off and exfoliates the skin at the same time making it silky smooth. My favorite razor is the Venus Vibrance. Good luck to you!!

I like nair, but I think for any kind of cream I've found that washing the area down with Witches Hazel (its an astringent thats very very mild thats extremely inexpensive and can be found at most pharmacies) pretty much eliminates the smell and helps get all the chemically goop off more than any shower could (tho I usually shower also).

I agree that laser is the way to go.I am having laser treatment on my whole body, although it is expensive, and you have to repeat the process a number of times, the result is permanant.

The trick is to soak it off in a bath for at least ten minutes. Showering is not enough, as the cream is absorbed into the skin.

:))

LadyHeart, sorry for being dense but I want to understand what you've suggested:  do you mean soaking in a bath for 10 minutes AFTER using the depilatory cream, in order to get it off ?

Or, do you mean soaking in a bath for 10 minutes BEFORE putting on the cream, as a means of skin prep ?

Thank you, I look forward to your reply.

Given that I'm not in the UK, I guess I dont need to worry now do I?  Philly still is in the US, last I checked.

MisPandora, may I ask, please (because never found the answer anywhere else and was too shy to initiate the question) does "Brazilian" mean waxing to remove "bikini line" hair in front only ?  If so, is there another term for removing hair backside, including between buns ?  (is that service even available commercially, do you know ?)  I've been thinking that it would probably be much more attractive that way but the logistics of doing it yourself seem pretty impossible !).  So, sorry if this is offensive but it seemed like an opportunity, at last, to ask !
Thank you.

If you ever wish to know what something is, use google or wikipedia....that'll generally paint you a good picture of what's being discussed.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_waxing
