I am post menopause and I still get wet. Maybe my body hasn't read the right books! I've always been about average for wetness, and am perhaps now fractionally drier, but my husband commented the other night that I'm wetter than ever at the moment. I dunno! :)) LH

Personally, I am not a very wet girl. I get wet enough that stuff goes in, but I never drip and I hardly ever get my panties wet.

Arousal and natural lubrication are at maximum after ovulation. Lowest for both first half of cycle.

I used to never get very wet at all to the point where it made sex difficult even with lube. I thought there was something wrong with me. I have recently found i just needed to be bound and now i can be dripping wet with just a look.

I pretty much have always been "more wet than not". I had a tubal ligation at 23 so from then on sex was all about fun for me. I did always have some times when I was dry no mater how aroused I was. I am pretty much the same post menopause and post total hysterectomy. Some days its dripping from reading an emial, some days its dry and we need lube, no rhyme or reason (no ovulation anymore, no hrt) But still more wet than not wet. The "textbook dryness and fragile tissue" was somethign I had been taught to expect but so far (6 -7 years post menopause, 4 years post hysterectomy) the wet/dry issue has not changed noticibly and we engage in some pretty "rough" things at times and so far good - no tearing or problems.

I'm very wet. If the intercourse is ahem! gutteral and loud, I'm a river. sigh I'm even a splasher....yep ejaculates but that only happens with oral damn good oral. I hate it because as some have said there are days for no reason at all it's just out of hand even with a panty liner. I have to change the liners a few times per day. This is usually right before My period though. I used to douche but My OBGYN told Me to stop. Messes up My yeast or whatever is naturally occuring up there.

Interesting thread, especially since I don't have girlfriends with which I can discuss this! Internally I am usually wet but not externally even when extremely aroused. I think the external dryness is due to medication but I'm not sure. When playing or having sex I do need lube added about midway through. I hate that.. I feel like I don't work right. So, I am very glad to read about all the differences we have. [:)]

I've been known to soak the bedsheets, which I've only recently learned to appreciate. Being dry seems a lot more unpleasant, and dripping drives the girls wild. My last pet used to get so wet that I could fist her without any additional lube, which was pretty neat. We were an awfully messy pair.

I have noticed at times that I can be too wet to feel as much as I would like. I know that Master loves it and I haven't had anyone ever complain, they actually get more turned on when they see it (literally). I used to think it wasn't normal, but now I just accept and enjoy that my body reacts the way it does. All Master has to do is grab me by my hair and I am instawet...sort of like the instasoup...only a lot tastier (or so he says[;)]).
