Status: offline 		OK, ladies... i need your help. i keep myself clean shaven, except for a "landing strip". my Master requests i keep my pussy shaven for Him. i have no problem doing that, but apparently my skin does. Lately, i've been getting the worst razor-burn. Not particularly sexy OR comfortable in that area. Have waxed before, but skin was so sensitive it left huge bruises where the hair was pulled out. Any suggestions on shaving techniques or products to keep the skin happier??

Status: offline 		Have you ever tried hair removal cream? They used to smell vile but they've got better and for me are they only way forward! I shave sometimes but had the same problem as you with wax. Cream is painless and cooling and not that messy if done in the bath!

Status: offline 		There are alot of sensitive skin hair remover lotions out there but I do not know the brands. Maybe you could try this. I have also tried some of the african american hair remover products because they seem to be gentler on the skin. Try a beauty supply place if you are not to shy to ask the sales lady what would work. LOL!

Does your Master see that you are having a reaction? What is your Masters response to this?

Status: offline 		I work in the cosmetics department and I have heard almost everything from "where is your bath soaps?" to "what is the best kind of lotion to use when jerking off?" (no joke, I actually got asked this). If you just ask the sales person what works best for removing hair from your bikini line and your sensativities to waxing and shaving I'm sure she could recommend something. All of my recommendations are in the threads mentioned above.

Status: offline 		Try either Veet, or Magic Shave, I hae very sensitive skin, and my Mistress's require me to be clean shaven, so I use either of these products.

Actually, that's the last thing you should do. Razor burn occurs when the blade scrapes off some of the skin around the hair follicle. The area becomes red and inflamed as an immune response, like with any other kind skin abrasion. When you shave frequently, you'll tend to get ingrown hairs- which cause the skin to be raised even more. That's why razor burn occurs more often when you shave daily, as opposed to waiting a few days in between shaves, which allows most of the hairs to rupture out of the skin.

Alcohol is very harsh and will make the inflammation around the hair follicle worse. Alcohol kills bacteria, but it kills ALL cells, not just the bad ones- and that means the healing process gets slowed.

If you want to apply anything, try neosporin or its generic equivalent. It not only contains compounds that kill bacteria, but also those that heal your skin.

Status: offline 		There is also a product on the market to help prevent razor burn. I don't remember the name right now, but it can be found in the ethnic shaving products.

Status: offline 		I tried the new Venus 3 with vibration, I dunno that the vibrations really helped that much with expolianting like they say, but it gave me a good giggle when my kitty hoped onto the tub rim where I set down the razor still on vibrate, she had a really really good time knocking it off onto the tile floor and batting it around till I could stop her

Ok razor, not so safe but ooooh so fun toy for kitty

Status: offline 		I realize you asked for the help of females only, but I don't see what it could hurt for me to throw my two cents in there as well.

I have been researching hair removal for a while now.. for the best permanent - cost effective - safe solution. I have come up with the following formula.

Check with your local Spa to see if they provide or can begin providing a service called "natural sugaring". Now strip sugaring is sold in stores and works extremely similar to wax. However, natural sugaring you get at a spa is 100% natural and works relatively different than wax or even "nads". For starters, the sugar product is water soluble and therefor can be washed off in the shower afterwards instead of requiring a wax removing strip. Probably the best thing about spa sugaring is that they pull in the direction of the hair growth which supposedly makes it much less painful and is proven to cause less irritation/damage to the skin and follicle. It lasts as long as waxing ( rumored to last longer ) but with less side effects.

Now, using body sugaring alone should help and is at the very least as good as waxing. I recommend, though, that you use it in conjunction with a natural hair inhibitor. Inhibitors are supposed to be made from natural plant extracts and be safe for your skin, but I didn't invent them so i'm not going to make you any promises. From the research i've done i've concluded that the goal of an inhibitor is to continue breaking down the growth process of the hair at the very root until it eventually is so weak it can not form an actual hair. Results will vary per person, so some people may see a little change and others see a complete elimination of the hair. I can't tell you what kind of results you'll have, but even if the product doesn't completely eliminate your hair it does promise to slow down the hair growth and make the hairs finer and less visable. That's not a half bad deal.

Please don't take anyone's advice without first doing research of your own. If necessary consult a professional. Best of luck.
