I agree with the cranberry juice and lots of liquids, make sure your urine is clear during this time. Make sure any reddness is dissapating and not increasing.

I could understand and even support the narrow constrants of what he will and will not do (everybody has their own way of living this life after all), if he weren't so vocal about the things he doesn't do being gross (or assuming it is a burden that must be endured), or if he didn't complain so loudly about not being able to find someone.

Everyone is perfectly free, and in fact should, figure out what works and doesn't work for them. But people should also face the fact that certain things make them less desirable. While I totally support a woman refusing to give head or have sex with the lights on, I'm not going to think her complaining about how she can't get laid is valid.

The urethra can be progressively stretched so quite large objects can be inserted. Medically, it is done using "sounds" which are graduated metal tubes. It used to be a common procedure in the days when medicine was more primitive and equipment a lot more bulky. These days, kinksters do it because it feels good - the sounds rest against the prostate and stimulate it.

They can also be used on women, but you have to be a lot more careful. In a male, the urethra is long, and has a kink in it that makes it impossible for a sound to be pushed into the bladder (that's why catheters are flexible) but in a woman the urethra is short and straight. You really need to know your anatomy, as opening up to the bladder can lead to infection, and that's an opening that doesn't need stretching as it leads to incontinence. You need lots of lube whether male or female, and pee after wards to flush out any pathogens. I've tried the sounds, and they felt "different" but I couldn't say that I was keen to try them again .... they weren't painful and I can see why some might like the sensation....

While I totally agree with everything you said about hygiene (and then some!)  I have seen a number of pics on extreme sites that DO show fingers down urethras. Where the line is between fantasy and reality here is unclear, but some people are doing this stuff, and they need to know how to do it more safely. For some it's Monkey See, Monkey Do. Just because you saw it on the Internet doesn't mean it's safe or sane!
