"U.S. District Judge John Bates in Washington threw out the suit, saying he lacked jurisdiction." I'm sure they will pursue other avenues. I read that her attorneys are reading the decision....I wonder if the case can be taken any further?

In ancient times, a case like that would require original jurisdiction in the SCOTUS. This might have been a procedural hurdle and nothing more. This shit gets positively arcane because the president and his people are very nearly immune from any real legal attacks.
