NakedOnMyChain -> Personalized Taglines (7/19/2007 7:34:40 PM)

I've been on this site for some time now, and I swear I've been paying attention, but here is my ignorant question for the day: How did the people that have personalized taglines acquire them? I'm talking about the ones that say "retired CM thread-jerker" (Thanks, proudsub! Yours was the first that jumped to mind. [:)]) or the like instead of "deranged" or "wicked" or "vanilla". Does it come from doing some kind of service for the site? That was the closest guesstimate I could come up with. I've been wondering about this for a long time, but I will admit that I haven't looked very hard for the answer. Usually I'll do my research like a good Girl Scout, but in this case it's just easier to admit my ignorance and ask. Thanks all. Edited to add: Of course, it could just be like jumping the flag in the original Super Mario Brothers. You get fireworks, and you have no freaking idea why. LOL. Although I did, eventually, figure that particular mystery out. It only took about ten years.
