I am a scorpio. A past gf had a reading or something done on me. Said, to her, it explained a lot. Myself ... who knows ... I'm just my own stubborn, ornery, independent self.

i am no astrological expert (tarot is my forte, as another mentioned), but the sun, rising/ascendant, and moon signs were explained to me like this:

When someone asks your sign, it currently refers to your sun sign. Your sun sign is like the glasses you put on to view and live life. The traits of your sun sign affect every area, and are usually the most recognized traits of a person. (Though there are always exceptions to every rule.)

The rising sign is how you would like to appear to others. Some of the traits of your rising sign speak of how you conduct yourself, the rules by which you govern your motions and plans, etc.

The moon sign tells of how a person is "wired" emotionally, in their private lives, and indicate more about how we are in relationships. It indicates traits of our "secret self", so to speak.

A good friend of mine is an amazing reader, and teaches astrology. She hinted once at the idea of looking at people's moon signs to know how to best love them. i think the moon sign would tel how best to serve them.

i wrote a BDSM tarot meaning once (for an entire deck), and had fun using it. i know only a little about astrology, but have the books to make up for what i lack. i would love to see how accurate my ideas are about applying lifestyle aspects to moon signs.

I'm a Sun in Scorpio person too.

The planet Pluto "rules" the sign of Scorpio and in Astrology the planets are what count.

Many people into BDSM have their Sun next to Pluto when they are born and I consider them to be very much like "Scorpio" even though they may be a Leo (1939-1957), a Virgo (1957-1972) or a Libra (1972-1984).

Other people many have Scorpio rising, Scorpio Moon, or Moon next to Pluto.

There are many ways to have a "Pluto" (Scorpio) influence in a horoscope.

Considering that 1 out of every 12 people is probably a scorpio...and the number of people who use this site...there are probably a lot of scorpios around here. Although I am a scorpio myself, I don't think it provides any greater chance of being into bdsm than any other star-sign...

Well, if people are looking for a corelation, they'll find one. I tried a little "experiment" of sorts and got my full chart done by 4 different astrologers once. Each chart had some elements that were 'true" and some that weren't true at all. None of them were exactly the same.

Astrology can be amusing sometimes ( I met my husband in an astro chatroom, of all places) but no way would I use it as some kind of Personality At A Glance. It was so irritating to hear that " OH, you're an Aquarius! That explains it!", like a form of socially acceptable bigotry. Good grief. People actually searched for any sign from me that would describe aquarius, or my rising and moons signs, and just ignore the traits that negated. Or else they would claim.. " Oh, well, your saturn must be affected by your fifth house in the 20th degree". Or whatever.

One astrology buff insisted that because my Mars is in Aries, I should be attracted to immature, reckless, boyish men. Um, maybe when I was in my early 20s, lol. I pointed out the inaccuracy of that and she replied " Oh, then it must be conjunct your Venus blah blah blah".

So yeah, I don't put much stock into astrology at all, lol

this ought to be interesting.....I'm a capricorn (submissive) ironic huh? my birthday is 1/11/62 time of birth was around 3pm--chicago IL.....maybe this will give me some insight to who i really am, since most dominants say i'm a switch LOL........can't wait to hear from you

I'm a Scorpio. My ex was a Taurus, My dad is a Taurus and the Dom that I'm under consideration with is a Taurus. I think I'm just asking for trouble or maybe I just love trouble. My ex and I butted heads really bad. My dad and I are really close. The Dom.........we seem to mesh well. Go figure!

I know that Scorpio and Taurus are really bad signs to put together but I've noticed in several of the posts that a Scorpio is paired with a Taurus and vice versa. Could it be that the stronger one wins out or could be that the stronger just relinquishes the control to the other because they've had enough of being the stronger? Awe to ponder the workings of the human psyche.

I'm a submissive Taurus which is a bull... combine with that the fact that in Chinese Astrology I am an Ox.... yeah I can be a pretty bratty sub at times... But Ima redhead to so im wild in bed and it all works out. I used to know a whole lot morea bout my sign and planets but its been awhile since I have looked into it and I have never really had my chart done.
