Heck yea, but then it probably doesn't help that i really was a catholic school girl. lol And this one Dom i play with has a cop thing. Oh, and i love costumes, and acting. It really does help be get out of being my reserved self.

For me dressing up & role play is very hot.... it deffinately has a strong effect on me.

Could this be linked to the fact that I very rarely played dress up as a child or only went to a couple of fancy dress parties (out of fear of being the one that looks stupid lol).
If I had dressed up more would it now seem more normal & therefore excite me less as an adult???

Doubt it....more then likely you would be wanting ot dress up more, because you would experience some type of possitive reinforcement. It could be the attention of another enjoying how great you look, or you enjoying the role of making yourself up into someone diffrent.

it definately took some time for me to find the roles I like best (this week at least).  I love being a spoiled high maintenence princess ordering around her servent/s.  The wicked witch is my favorite, but she is soooooo mean many cannot handle her, the cold detached socialite who is ultra demanding and cruel of whomever enters her presence, the mad scientist working in her lab on penis experiments........

I love roleplay.    My favourite....The bad catholic school boy and the Sadistic Nun....confess your sins of commission and omission you nasty, sinful, little, infidel.  *God when I get the costume for this I'm going to cum before I get started* I even have the music for this scene :  An Introduction to Early Music (Naxos of America).  Nothing like gregorian chants from a choir of sexually repressed monks and damn thick ruler to get the headspace flying.

Five years of acting training, a love for table-top gaming and just a natural sense of showmanship...Yes, I LOVE roleplay. I hardly ever get to do it in a BDSM context, but I'd jump at the chance.

The wayward altar boy reprimanded and "saved" by the Mother Superior or Priest(ess) (NefertariReborn's post made my special purpose feel funny); The Mother and son with an unusually close relationship; The psychiatrist's patient who agrees to a new form of therapy; The black-ops agent caught deep in enemy territory; The young rougeish lad arrested by a stern female officer.

Oh jeeze...I need to go take another shower now.

Role play is probably on the top of my list of fetishes, and the list is long.  School girl with Teacher/Principle...one fantasy even includes several guys from class as well *blushes*...pet play, age play...innocent virgin being kidnapped, cat burgler, John/hooker (especially in a bar, but ya gotta be careful there), call-girl held captive, Mommy/daughter, Daddy/daughter.  Ahh, the list could go on and on and on.  Just wish I could find a good place for affordable costumes and such.

Role play wether planned or unplanned is always fun.  I have a closet full of costumes *S*   I don't get to use them as often as I like.

I love the captured secret agent fantasy... ever see the Madonna video from James Bond Die Another Day :)    Being chased is a big one, it falls into that whole kidnap/capture fantasy tho. Historical, military,vampire.anything I can put my fencing skills to use on :)   I thought the neighbors were going to call the police  on  us, Rob and I were in the front yard (it's an acreage) but I was  in my  British redcoat he was wearing my fencing jacket for protection and we were having a grand old duel :)   That was more just for giggles than anything else.

It's a fun way to explore fantasies and step outside of yourself.

I suspect that alot of people find it hard to express their RP desires, and/or they are to embarressed to talk about it.  That all depends on if there is a history or some kind of association with that fantasy.

I love to do roleplay as long as it is an occasional thing. For some roleplaying, it is well planned out beforehand...the kidnap/torture/rape of one submissive comes to mind as well as a kidnap, gang "rape" idea...but for other instances, unplanned works well.

Daddy/daughter (yes, the darker aspect sometimes), cop/speeder, gentleman/slut, etc.. are all fun. And like SimplyMichael...and others...there have been times when I just do become "animal" like...gripping and pulling hair, biting, forcing her into positions, taking her as hard as possible, working to bring out the "taken yet wanting to be" animal in her.
