Is there a name for dominants that are into green? Not necessarily crunchy or hippy type but green and eco-minded. Anyone hear of a term for these?

I tan some of my own leather from free-range, small farm organic cows I butcher myself, and I'm involved in wildlife biology and conservation. Definitely not a hippy though. More of a social Darwinist in terms of philosophy.

No idea what to call this, and it I don't think it really has jack shit to do with BDSM.

I'm not sure this has anything to do with my being a dominant at all but in our house we have switched to compact lightbulbs, energy saving devices, and we recycle everything it is possible to recycle in this community. I also do not water the lawn or flower unless not doing so much result in death for my gardens (that I invest good money on a gardener for every year). We always carpool when possible and I take the bus or walk (as does Fox) when it is feasible -- sadly mass transit is nothing like in NYC where we currently live and the city is much bigger in terms of geographic space than Manhattan was.

That said we are a very hi-tech house so I feel we must do something because I'm certain we make a huge impact on the environment.

Green Goddess? I use that for myself at times but who knows if anyone gets it. This is me to a T. I'm dominant but very eco-minded and so identifying as an ecologist figures thoroughly in how I interact with people. I am talking triple bottomline, social sustainability as well as carbon neutral, energy efficient, natural building, alternative fuels etc.....the social side of the eco equation is as important as the technical side and a lot harder to wrap one's arms around. For me this is a big part of femdom - comes back around to the mother earth, mother nature, wise woman, nuture oriented power - a strong leader very in touch with her feminine self. The eco feminist approach. This may have nothing to do with m/s but it definitely has to do with d/s. This is a huge part of what I find attractive about d/s.

I am a somewhat green Dominant ..live in the woods ..heat home with firewood from deadfall or thinning .... use the new fangles light bulbs whose name I never remember ..water plants with gray water ... use trees for bondage instead of crosses ...Im not a tree hugger but native american and do what I can to live in the old ways and be responsible.
