Not a fetish perhaps,but I am skilled in doing aromatheripic foot massages and have done so before for my ex.A welcome relief from the stresses of the day.

There's something inherently deferential and/or submissive in that.
Many find feet to be highly aesthetical in appearance.

It is thought that all parts of the body can be effected through the feet and acupressure points for every part of the body is mapped on the feet and toes.  Add the most humble position is at someone's feet and the foot massage becomes a service which is greatly appreciated.  i tend to believe that most men do not care for their feet and that a foot massage and a pedicure is one gift i can give that they may not even be award of how good it can make them feel.  Feet are not a fetish for me but i do love to serve and see my Dom happy.

true enough, but the reality is, most people refer to interests or heightened interests as fetishes.  so I would imagine the OP's questioned was answered by the people who posted.

People who think they know everything are incredibly annoying to those of us who do. 

J/K   Speaking only for myself, "fetish" is simply stating something we really enjoy on a regular basis.  I wouldn't call myself a "foot fetishist"  but I really do enjoy giving a nice lotion massage to Mistress' feet.

Ready, I have to agree! I love it even more when they pull the psychology card. (They get a big eye roll.)

I have had the chance to council someone with a foot fetish, and know that there was more to what turned him on then just the feet. It just happened to be a part of his sexuallity that he was mentally beating himself up about.

The case that is mentioned here is one where the fetish starts effecting your life; job, family, ect. Like any sexual activity that takes over your life in a unhealthy manner, it should be seeking some professional help.

I couldn't tell you. I can tell you lots of things I like about feet, but not why, anymore than I could tell you the precise, clinical, reason that I'm a switch.

Feet have a lot of good points - HUGE numbers of nerves, for one!

There's potentially a humiliation aspect to them which is enjoyable ('Lick my dirty feet, bitch'), but at the same time.. they're potentialy one of, if not the, most sensitive areas of the body. One of my more fondly missed exes would beg to have her toes sucked. as someone with a foot fetish i disagree. i will admit that i do (very slightly) obsess over feet, but that in no way limits my sexual intrest solely to feet.

The act itself shows and displays the most humble and true humility that submission can give without the sexual gratification. Is there another act of submissiveness that displays the difference between the Dominant and the sub?
