My Daddy and I met via perusal ("on the other side") about two years ago. We are now engaged to be married and quite happy, so Id say, yes, that was and is a positive experience that "went further".
I have made some friends locally as a result of profile perusal and some l/d friends as a result of message board posts.

When I thought about this question I was surprised at how many people I have met from CM. None so far have turned into a relationship however most are still friends. The majority of them were positive experiences, I have no complaints.

I also have found that within our local community there are many I met at munches or workshops only to find out they had profiles here at CM. So although CM did not bring us together they are still people I know here.

The very first submissive I met through here, though we weren't meant to be D/s--we became and are still best friends.

I have allot of friends through here, when I am out travelling, I try to meet as many RT as I can, My hope is to be off to England next spring and share some beer and repaste with RavenMuse.
