Femdoms, what gifts or "tributes" have you used to let a man know you are interested and to make him pay attention? It does go both ways, after all. If it's online (to start), I am big on sending him the toys I intend to use on him - I think this sets the tone up front that I am in charge, and that I am the one picking out the instruments. I also like to control when and how he is to open the package once it arrives.
There are the more obvious things - like sending lingerie or personal items along with instructions regarding what they are to be used for. I've sent provacative photos (once trust is established) as a surprise designed to leave a man distracted leading up to a phone call.
In real life relationships, when I am the one doing the courting, it could be something as simple as picking a date location I know he will enjoy or a restaurant with a certain style. I've surprised men with hotel rooms and limos, but that was back in my more extravagant days. I had this thing about making a guy feel like a "kept man" under the thumb of a rich, sophisticated woman -- even if the rich part had to be faked. Back before airport security hell days, I would also tell a man to pack a bag for overnight and then not tell him where we were going, including through airport security to the gate -- but nowadays, you have to have all your flight info up front and checked three times before you get inside.
Now that I am in a more settled relationship, the ways I "tribute" my man with affection are more predictable - but I do look for opportunities to surprise him. Even though I am the one doing the "giving" in most of these cases, there's always a hint or flair of control or domination. I remember when he was getting properly "immigrated" to the US he had to go get some immunizations - talk about a crappy afternoon. While he was gone I got a rare beer that he savored, put them on ice in a small cooler next to the tub, got a bubble bath ready when I knew he was 5 minutes away and set some music and his favorite reading materials nearby. Of course, then I proceeded to properly bathe him, which wasn't in the plans, but ended up being the right thing to do.
