It's been all over the papers and local news. However word has spread. We have this coucilman Polensic who looks over the arrest records in the ward and sends not so nice letters to the offenders. They are invited to stay out of the ward if they can't be good basically. I can imagine some of the letters to residents, about loud music, too many parties etc., many other things. Arsenio Winston is a sociopath, and has a few arrests under his belt. The letter Polensic wrote him was not as nice. In the letter "you are going to end up in prison or the morgue, and I don't care which happens first". He also called him a thug and a moron. Polensic had met Winston on the street, and Winston fronted him off. IIRC this was an issue about a public playground and noise or something. Winston told Polensic basically to fuck off, and that he would be in the NFL soon. I have the newspaper article describing this incident, which seems to have been forgotten. Looking at the arrest record, he is a thug. Fronting off a political official when you have a chance to make a friend, in my view, is moronic. So the guy told the truth. And with the kid's young age and arrest record, he is headed for prison or the morgue. Polensic told the truth. Well they are so up in arms about it, see Winston is Black and Polensic is White, the NAACP as well as Al Sharpton are involved now, but it may have backfired on them. Winston's Mother says he is destroying their family. What a fucking crock of shit. Polensic wasn't perfect. If I had written the letter I would've tried to be encouraging, but Polensic decided instead to basically vent. But so what. Well now this city of Cleveland Ohio councilman is getting emails from all over the world, as far as Dublin Ireland. What may surprise some is that the response has been pretty positive. He has been praised for being a politically incorrect politician. Many other things have been said. Polensic on TV today said "I do appreciate the support, but please slow it down". He has so much email and voicemail it is ridiculous. Most of it positive, saying things like "You tell it like it is" and similar statements. The Mother is playing the race card by calling the NAACP. Her son IS a thug and IS a moron. I think Polensic would write the same letter to a White offender. And Winston is an offender, not just an alleged offender, this is not his first arrest. So do NFL recruiters go to jails and morgues ? If so I wasn't aware of it. Thinking that they do would be moronic. I think the people against this letter are moronic. I fully agree that it was too scathing, to harsh, showed too much ire. Polensic should have showed more restraint. It has been said that this kid is actually one of his constituents, which is true. I have no problem though with the content of the letter, except that it lacked any positive or constructive elements. But it was his opinion. If being elected means you can't voice your opinion, count me out. Although I think the letter was in poor taste, I think it is ridiculous to make it an issue of such magnitude. The voiciferous people who made the letter public are the ones who made it an international thing. If they had done nothing, the letter would have been thrown in the garbage. Everybody on the side of the NAACP has something to say, but for some reason they have nothing to say about Arsenio Winston, a criminal who got a letter that was not so nice. It seems that if a White writes a letter like this to a Black, they want the Black freed and the White jailed, or at least removed from public office. Which is worse, raping, robbing and stealing, or writing a letter. Perhaps the pen really is mightier than the sword. These politically correct idiots seem to have opened up the big can of worms. And it looks like it is flying in their face. Public support for Polensic is at an all time high. So some want him drummed out on his ear and others want to elect him President. Every time I see or hear about the guy I like him more. He is not backing down, not one iota. He is standing his ground, unlike Jimmy the Greek, that guy in congress who used the word niggardly and a few others. And there was nothing racial in the letter to my knowledge. You can find the letter at myfox cleveland. Just navigate to it. It might not be pretty, but it was not sent to someone pretty. T
