would like to thank everyone who replied to my last post, hope i have done it right this time on my profile, but i am open to any suggestions on how to improve it, or do you think this will be ok this time, thank you again to the people who replied

I'm pretty sure it didn't change either, is is still caustically demanding. you can be dominant without being caustic. try toning it down, first by switching you handle, perhaps "comeatmyrequest" less demanding sounding still says same thing get the drift?

Dude - that's a terrible profile.

It's three sentences, and they make you sound like a complete asshole. No woman, ever, in a million, billion years is going to respond to you yelling "COME HERE RIGHT NOW MY CAPLOCK BUTTON IS STUCK!!!"

And I'd bet my wallet right now that you don't run around, the real you, shouting weird shit.

Scrap the profile. Go back and write sincerely, from the heart. Whoever the hell you are, your best bet is to be honest, and let somone reading your profile have a little insight into who you are. Say what you mean, and mean what you say.

Read the second part of my profile, the little "Eyes on Me" essay. It's awesome, not in an absolute sense, but in a subjective sense because it reflects something very essential about my intimacy - about me.

So go back and write something about you, about who you are, what you want, maybe why?

The why's are pretty damn important.

Yes, definitely more appealling in terms of politeness. Good for you!

I agree with Faramir that what's missing now is a little bit about yourself, something to intrique someone to want to get to know you as a man, and not just as a dominant. You are more than just a person who wants to spank, or control...

Mentioning some non-BDSM interests, such as a favourite musician, or movie, or activity, allows someone an opening to email you.

I'm not going to say "add non-bdsm stuff" - unles that is part of what you want to communicate. You need it to be more personal, but only you know what parts of your person you feel the need to share.

Definately an improvement from a personal point of view - I agree with Faramir that something about you and your interests would be an enhancement, but your profile isn't at all threatening now - or bordering on 'Loserville'(sorry - just had to add that - my word of the day I think!)

You could try and participate in the forum, that helps people get to know you too, and although and thoughts vary, most people are open to others opinions. (Besides, it is always great to have another Uker onboard!)

I think this may be, in part, a gender thing. Most women are looking for more than a sex-machine, or a dom-machine, even if all you are looking for is a fairly casual thing, so if someone doesn't show a willingness to be human, they risk coming off as looking as though all they are interested in is sex.

That goes over well with only a very small part of the female population in general.
