I do appreciate your good intentions slave4mzpatti, but I don't believe you should just let life happen. We all have to make choices... so I figure you might as well try to make the best ones along the way. I am less worrysome than I am analytical. Just trying to make the best out of the time I have here. Thanks again everyone for all the feedback.

I couldn't agree with you more. You do have to make choices. And starting out pretty well, I might add. I don't think age is a matter of life or death (my Dom is significantly older than I am) but at the same time, I think you do need to be conscious of those issues. You are obviously intelligent and don't have to worry about too much. I am thinking ahead to those issues and continuing to be conscious of them can definitely help.

My Dom has said that his only hangup about dating a younger woman would be that people would look at us and perceive that we weren't a loving couple; that I was after his "status" or money or something like that, and he just wanted a good lay. And we talked and agreed that in a few sentences talking with anyone, we could both blow that perception away.

So keep that in mind, and welcome to the boards. :D

Very valid point AAkasha. I guess in the end I should give everyone a chance and see how things go. I definately don't believe anyone has time to waste or expirament with, but sometimes it IS necessary to experience things before you can make a decisions as to whether or not you like it. Thanks for the advice. It's going to be difficult finding a Mistress who is patient enough to go through such a long and drawn out process of getting to know eachother.

Hello noumenon and welcome to the boards.

You are right that there is no way you can say for sure whether or not you enjoy something until you try it. I have surprised Myself many times over the years. But the best way to learn is to experiment and try things. Always keep an open mind and you will find that your options stay open as well.

You said in an earlier post

I think first me and life have to make a truce. If things keep going the way they're going now i'll end up in prison or a psychiatric ward.
Have you examined the choices that put you there and re-evaluated them in the light of what you learned of the consequences?

As to My opinion re: age

Older women have a lot to offer that younger women cannot. Most important is the living experience that is brought to the table. Older women make great friends and companions. They tend to already know what they want out of life and who they are. There is a cultural gap however. Whether or not this makes a difference will depend on the individuals involved. Maturity levels are not the same as age and often play a more important role in the relationship then age does so be aware of that.

As to My personal experiences with younger men....I have had submissives as young as 22. I had no problem but some of them did. Even though I had stressed the fact that I was older they still had a mental picture of Me having a young body. My body is also old and sags in places. It may be in good shape but the skin is not as elastic as it was in My 20s and I do have some wrinkles from child-bearing. The submissives were not prepared for the reality. I can still do most of the things I did in My 20s but My energy level is lower so I do not do them for the same length of time. I also do things differently now because I move differently. The benefit of being older is that I know how to do more things and have a lot more variety. I am more willing to compromise because I know different ways of achieving the same goal and am not stuck in only one way of doing things.

*ramble time over*
