Hey everyone, it's great to have found this site.

New submissive here.  Or, at least I think so.  Just about every fantasy of mine has had something to do with the submission area.  I've recently begun pouring over the internet going through info sites, and I have to say a lot of it really resonates with me.  That being said I have no real experience in the area.  Sure my boyfriend has held me down and um, done stuff, or tied me to the bed before, but for him it's just a little something to spice stuff up.  I want more, or at least I think I do.  Bottom line, I'm really inexperienced, lol.

To complicate matters, I'm trans.  I'm 20, 5'6, and a college student.  A combination that makes for an interesting situation.

The main reason I'm here, (for the moment that is), is to learn.  I'm really curious as to how trans people fit into the bdsm community.  I'm at the akward stage of transition where I get ma'am'd or miss'd roughly half the time when out in boy-mode.  I like confusing people, ^.^.  So my first question is:  What should I fill out for the gender marker on the main site?  At present I'm going with "trans".  A member suggested I choose male, but I don't really see myself as a guy.  I'm also lax about picking female now as I worry that might be considered rude, (is it?).  So I'm at a loss of what to put down for gender.  "Trans" sort of fits, but it's not my ideal perception of self to say the least.  For the present it stays.

Secondly, how do trans people fit in here?  Are we freaks or oddities?  Finding a vanilla boyfriend who could see me as just a normal girl who had a birth defect was hard enough, if not a random stroke of luck.  My experience has been that many guys interested in a transgirl are mainly interested in a certain body part of mine that's on death row.  Anyway, I'm definitely rambling, and this has turned into a super-introduction.  Long story short, it's wonderful to be hear, I'm very interested in learning about the community, and much thanks to anyone who took the time to read,
