It depends on the shoes-If we are out at an event and I tell him to lick the bottom of my shoes clean,  I love knowing he will do anything for me.  Whenever I get a new pair of shoes. a sub should just do as told and not worry if he loves it or no Mistress is all that matters if it is a punishment the sub needs then it should be some thing they hate for me it would be force bi for example

For me, it is more satisfying when I know that he or she enjoys the humiliation on some level, even if the enjoyment comes from obeying me and not from the act.  I don't think the two are mutually exclusive.
