The profile does seem really... advertisement-esque, some softer wording might help the 'tone'. Or perhaps just add more to it, a little bit about what you enjoy , passtimes, hobbies, favorite forms of service to have performed for you.. something that makes you seem more like a person, less like the pre-requisites for contest entry.

It doesn't matter if you put it in your profile or not. If the thing even gets read, count your blessings. Just deal with people one on one and you can make it clear in all your initial emails. Other than that, I block, delete and move on from there.

When I see the portion referring to your training, and you say 'we are very elite', it sounds like an agency, to be frank.

Of course, being a lifestyler AND pro myself, I find the question interesting. I am currently seeking a personal slave, and always accept new clients. To explain to boys that if they don't want to devote their lives to me, and are therefore not useful to me as a slave and will not enrich my life (pardon the pun, I simply mean in the emotional/play context), then they shouldn't expect to play for free. Those are their choices in dealing with me, my profile is clear on the matter.

Do they read it? Nope. Do I care that I have an inbox filled with do-me subs? Nah, I just send them on their merry way. Not even my clients get to have that attitude.

Over time and with some tweaking, your profile will gain you more of the people you seek, and send away those you don't.

Thank you, Miss Magnolia! It's nice once in a while to have someone point out that not all pros are evil. (Well, I'm E-Ville, but that's different.) For some there is a need for a professional, and at least we play SSC, and I care about them. Frankly, if I don't, they don't play.

I'm not sure the OP did refer to professional dommes as "money hungry".  Yes, the OP mentioned professionals, but that was a few sentences back from this comment.  There are certainly legitimate, professional dommes, but there are also plenty of usurers who are exactly as the OP suggests:  money hungry, manipulative con artists.

I appreciate your concern for respecting others, but I think you're overreacting here. I don't think she was referring to all pro dommes. There ARE a lot of women on CollarMe, and on similar sites, whose primary goal is to squeeze money out of subs. If the shoe fits, wear it, if not, don't worry about it.

I am curious as to why the OP would ask a question and then seemingly not take on any advice about Her profile? 

I agree with all thats been said in that it does read as a pro-Dom particuarly with words such as elite and the request for a background check.  And whilst the journal entry indicates there has been some changes it doesnt appear to have made it any more personable. But then if that is what OP is after then just weed through and block the ones thinking you are a Pro.

You might weed out most of the riff raff by adding a line saying that you WILL do pro, but only for $5,000 per hour, with a six hour minimum.  And if Bill Gates calls ..........?????

I just really get tired of novice self righteous WHATEVER’s that pass judgment over something they have no clue about. First of all your are completely full of shit because its RARE, very RARE a male will go out of his way to write YOU and ask YOU what the expected tribute is. Ok, MAYBE one guy did but SOooooo many? You asked for advice and we all gave it.  And of course, it is your prerogative to largely ignore our advice (which is what you have done).  Other than moving the words around, your profile is the same as it was before.  Hey, it's your profile and you can do with it as you wish.  Personally, I would not reply to you.  There is a creepy, negative, distrustful vibe in your words and I find this a complete turn-off.  You don't share anything about yourself (in terms of your vanilla and BDSM tastes).  And finally, other than saying you want an LTR with no sex, you don't say what you're looking for in a submissive and in a relationship.  Strike one.  Strike two.  Strike three.  As before, three strikes and you're out.  So yes, you get the boys who are shopping for a pro to fulfill their kinks at a suitable price.  Change your approach and you'll get a different audience.  Keep the same approach and you'll keep the audience you have now.  It's that simple.

What has puzzled me about this thread is the fact that men have contacted the OP in regards to ProDomination. In the time that I have been on the boards, I don't think I have seen this complaint.  It is striking in it's singularity.   Most posts from submissive men re prodommes is that they can't seem to get away from them, that prodommes (both the good and the bad) litter the CM landscape.  One doesn't need to go out and find them.

As the OP has indicated that she will not change her profile, my post is rhetorical.  However, if you are being sent messages asking if you are a pro (and that's not what you are looking to do), you are clearly sending the wrong message.  Something about your profile screams pro.  You can continue to be frustrated, or you can change it so that it is in line with your aims.

I respectfully disagree. While you may not like it, and you may feel it is impersonal or arrogant, or whatever, it certainly doesn't scream pro to me.
