Thanks.  I've many happy memories of the place from childhood (exploring the woods, catching crawdaddies, skinny-dipping in the pond with the local farm kids) through my teen years (hunting with my grandfather, sneaking into the woods to "explore" the local farm girls) right up to today.  We still use it as a getaway.  No television, no phone, no computer - ah the bliss.  Heading down there this weekend, in fact.  A camp fire, a couple of bottles of wine, some good herb, smores, and the company of good friends.  It don't get much better.

A camp fire, a couple of bottles of wine, some good herb, smores, the company of good friends AND... slaves to do all the cooking, cleaning, pour the wine, and dance naked by the firelight.  I can't imagine that it could get ANY better than that.

Popeye - don't blame me for this state's stupidity. I've been trying to get the hell out of IL since I was 18. 

Marc2b - Picture this.  Lots of land, 10 foot tall privacy fence, solar and wind power to keep us off the grid, grow our own food.  And lots of slaves to keep us all happy!!! But I get the be the Alpha Bitch!!!! :D

Any one want to donate some land NOT IN IL for this venture???

I’ll cede the position of chief administrator to you only if I can have the position of chief disciplinarian of the female slaves (someone else can have the job punishing the male slaves). Lounging around in the wilderness, being waited upon hand and foot, interrupted only to give a good butt paddling to an displeasing slave girl – yeah, I could get into that.

If we get enough slave girls it shouldn't be a problem.  Even if we only start with a few slave girls, we can just double the number of whacks! 

Oh my, look at the time!  I really should stop goofing off at work and sneak out early so I can pack my bag and head down south to the schoolhouse.

LdyScarlet, do like I did with Massachusetts, just LEAVE!
When I was in the USCG in stationed in Maine I got a letter from then governor Mike Dukakis offering a "tax amnesty" if I paid "back taxes" which I didn't owe anyway!
I'd claimed "New Hampshire" as my home state two years previous because they have no state income or sales taxes as I never intended to return to Massachusetts.
Boy,...I wish I had a coppy of the form that I returned to them! lol

Popeye  - I wish I could afford to get out of this state.  I'm one of those 35 million poor Americans the presidential candidates keep going on about.  At least in the commune we'd have a doctor (and a really fun gyne chair!)
