MsShala -> Finding the solution (6/26/2005 6:57:48 PM)

I want a bi f sub, but I want her to be as much a part of Me, as I am her. I haven't had the chance for r/t, I need a sub with a good head on her shoulders that knows what to do in an emergency. A sub that can help keep the house in order, run errands, cook, do yard work whatever is needed at the time, I need her to be self sufficent( take care of her needs clothes medical, ect.....). I want her to be able to think for herself and still be very submissive to Me. what kind of sub should I look for?

I'm in a similar boat and wonder what you mean by "What kind of sub should I look for?"

I mean, are you talking the difference between a more Gor type girl or a total slave or a submissive s/o?

Ms. Shala, I mean no disrespect but truly you just answered your own quesiton. You described exactly what you were looking for.. if you are asking for re-assurance. Yes, those type of submissives do exist. Just make sure, if you know what you want that you don't settle for something less. There's a big difference between having too high of exectations and being too impatient to wait for what you really want. I have been looking for as long as I can remember for the right girl, I know exactly who she is but I have not even seen a glimpse of her yet. That is ok, because life goes on with or without getting what you want. Just stick in there and make good investments... put time and energy into the right places. If you would like, you should look for some local groups in your area. Online should be a secondary means of finding a partner if you have candidates available in real life. Best wishes.

You beat me to it noumenon.

Shala, there is no label for the kind of sub you are looking for. She will simply be a woman that fits that description.

You should "look" for one matching up with, and complementing, your needs - and you should match up with their needs, and complement those/her as well.

You get to know somebody in much the same way you would for any other relationship, there is merely the "added component" of establishing a D/s framework. Not everybody who fits your criteria will match up with you D/sly, not everybody who matches up with you D/sly ("I want to submit to you! I do! I do! I do!") will fit your criteria.

I'm biased, I don't think "looking" is the best way. I think knowing folks, meeting folks, and when there is a spark seeing what might develop makes a lot more sense.

Otherwise what the two people might have most in common is that they are/were both looking - hardly what I would call the best foundation for a relationship of any sort.

thanx for all the help and good advice I have recieved.
I was wondering if I should look for a sub/slave, or a switch to get what I am looking for.

Look for a -person- that works.

I think if you find a person you match with you'll be happy.

seems like, You just answered Your own question. You look for someone with enough life experience and common sense in her to know about real life.

Look for the dynamic, I have found that after that, almost anything is negotiable.
