For those who are involved in all the political threads I offer this.
I just listened to White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane, and it got me to NOT thinking.
It helps me out of an attitude. Sometimes I catch an attitude, and if I get out of line, sorry. And that's about how it is. I don't think of it as a big thing. I express myself and others do as well. But politics has taken it's toll.
Been one hell of a day, I got my old job back but I am keeping the new one. They want me back, and have upped the ante to $27 per hour. Problem is it is a 23 mile drive.
I like the new boss better than the old boss, but the old boss has more money.
I don't remember if I told you all about this. Me and another guy pretty much swapped jobs. He took my job out there, but I didn't really want it. I limited the hours I would give them and all that. I was tired of the 23 mile drive, and sometimes, of their attitude.
I have seen them today for the first time in 2½ years. All I can say is "more gray". They are still the same people I used to deal with every day years ago. The names remain the same, but the hair color has been changed to protect the innocent, or guilty, I forget.
Now I got this crackhead friend, just when everything was going well. Fucker makes about $60,000 a year, and blows it all.
Then I got others who ask for advice but do not take it.
The life of a terminator is not easy. Take on that personna and you are expected to know everyting, including the future ( I ran my mouth a bit too much ). You need to know if a used car is a lemon or a real good one, and when you give your advice, based on sound engineering theories and at hand evidence of reliability, they don't take it.
The guy who just HAD to get in front of you on the freeway, at all cost, risking many lives, he is not a moron, nor a cad, nor an idiot. He is normal. And when he comes across me, with my Grand National VIN C 3800, I am not afraid to push on the gas. I've peeled tires three times in the last two days. Let's rock.
I also know how to modify that engine for about 45% more power. They are not playing with fucking kids. What I really want is for the air conditioning to work. I put about $100 worth of R12 in it and it leaked out. Bummer. Even if it would last one season.
Fuck the ozone layer, it never was a layer to start with. Anyone who really understands physics will tell you that. Want details, just ask.
