Then it seems it would come down to becoming familiar with the boards and some of the posts. Then I would begin to see who has this same pattern as mistoferin pointed out.

And in response to Nakedgirlscout I may speak my mind if I feel someone should stop whining but I would never tell them to do something bad to themselves either.

I have a strong belief in not allowing yourself to be a victim and I see too many submissives (and people in general for that matter) who fall into the whole "poor me" cycle. I have no desire at this point in time to put my personal life out there however I HAVE incidents in my life that I could cry about and gain pity from others because of. I would rather use them to learn, grow and become stronger. That mindset took someone else to harshly point me in the right direction and maybe some of these people need to hear it too. That is where I am often coming from. I hate to hear of bad first meetings or disappointments and abandonments, I really do....but at the same time life happens. Show the world you are strong and can rise to meet it. It makes you that much more attractive to the sane ones!

Personally, I made no reference whatsoever to the OP. My comment was in regard to DG and Emperor. I have no idea why you seemingly singled me out to berate when others have said far more directly to the OP than I have commented. Perhaps you simply replied to my post and aren't referring to me personally when you ask these rhetorical questions? Otherwise my reply (were you referring to me personally) would be that I've said nothing to the OP and if you look at my history of replies your suggestion that "Is it absolutely necessary to see someone who craps their pants, bend over, and crap on them too?  Does that make you feel bigger?  better?  stronger? " would be quite unfounded.

As someone who has been around, most of this stuff is old hat and my archair counseling tends to be pretty damn close to the mark.  I frankly think if we told MORE people they are not mature enough or emotionally stable enough to do BDSM and were MORE blunt with people, we, the "community" would be one hell of a lot better off.
 
I don't mock homeless people, but I do tend to note they have mental issues and don't associate with them on a social basis.

Status: offline 		I didn't look at who is who and who they are doing.  I might only do that if I was interested in someone's profile at random and sometimes that leads to a hop-skip to so-n-so and theirs refers to whoz-it etc lol.

I just didn't want to read a book before I replied as quicky as possible to 'helppp meee'. Maybe I should get the whole story next time.  But, why should we have to? grrr, if someone asks a question shouldn't they really MEAN the question? Shey is right. I wouldn't put myself 'out there' and look weak to anyone either (here or in real life). There is a time and place for that.  This is not the time or the place lol.  When my hydro bill was late, yep, good time to cry to the lady on the phone and play dumb.  Here? would be like being a sitting duck.

I might pay attention more before replying to something from now on..I might not, it is a lot of work grr.
