I know there are phobias and names for those with desires for certain fetishes.

I just found out a new one on me - pteraphile: which (apparently) is a Lover of Wings (and those/that which have them)

I was wondering - if anyone knows a name for

A Lover of Books

A Lover of Knowledge (or thirst for knowledge)

A Lover of Colours

More than close enough - you really couldn't go from Attic Greek soppia to "wisdom," or "knowledge," or any current English reduction of understanding. Philosopher is the right word.

I think it would be chromophile, but the word isn't in OED anyway. There are chromophil and chromophobe (both adjectives), they're technical terms that have to do with staining tissues.
