MHOO314 -> Ever had this happen? Dual training? (6/28/2005 3:31:18 PM)

OK here is a first for Me and diverting attention from the upcoming class--I teach and mentor as many of My Domination peers do-- I was approached in an online site by a couple to begin to mentor a new male sub, now he had been in the teaching of the Master and his female sub--in the basics--terms, rules, certain protocols--his assignments were posted on a public site---(Im not comfortable with this personally-just Me)--but I was asked to work with him to start him on his journey to defining what he is and to prepare for a Mistress someday--ok no problem---- BUT he is still being mentored by the Master---and in the first few tasks, we are at odds--- go figure---I have NEVER shared the mentoring of a sub with a Dom---has this happened to anyone? If so how did you make it work?

This sub is just being a glutant for punishment. I don't see you needing to make him choose. When he's around you make sure he knows how to serve you. He's the one who wants to be trained. You can only give him what you have to offer. Just make sure you're getting what you want out of it or let him know that he's not worth your time.

We all see things and interpret them with the definition we personally have for the terms used, my opinion is my own only and i make a clear distinction between a mentor and a trainer.

It sounds like You are acting as a trainer in this given situation and the other Master is also a trainer. i can say this first hand, i was in such a situation and it did not work at all. Differentiating between the two trainers to serve them and learn their way would be overwhelming for a new submissive / slave.

Now, a mentor and a trainer (as i know them to be) would work.

Do the two Masters communicate? Do they coordinate? Do they have beliefs and structure and protocol in common? Does the right hand know what the left hand is doing?

I've never been in your situation. It seem's though that it would only make life rougher on you and him. If he tries to obey the other dom....and that conflicts with what you want to train him. Issues arise. Not only for him but also for you.

I think he should make a choice who would best serve his needs?

Too many cooks in the kitchen, if you ask me.

A presentation letter in their own hand requesting a format of what is to be covered by Both might be appropriate...communication seems to be the common theme....

Subjects covered and proper reinforcement along with quick synopses might bring the immediate long and short term goals more readily in focus...

It can be accomplished..yet it needs to be invested in...the question is...is it worth the investment...do you need a return or simply go thru the motions for motion sake?...I think not...everything should have a form of accomplishment....

imho
