What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

Thanks in advance,

Rob a bank! <grin> Okay, I wouldn't, but only because I would then feel horribly guilty for the rest of my life.

Make everyone telepathic and empathetic.

Kinkypupper -> RE: Something to think about (6/28/2005 8:22:11 PM)

Go to vegas with every penny i could scrounge, beg or borrow and put it all on one roll of the dice..

( if i could not fail...)

Since I would however I would be content to go to vegas fora weekend with a nice female companion and take in a few shows and play the nickle slots.

CalliopePurple -> RE: Something to think about (6/28/2005 8:32:41 PM)

If I couldn't fail in about 15 years, I'd run for POTUS. (President of the United States)

I would take up the ultimate challenge and paddle the triple crown of Kayaking. They say accomplishing this is the equivalency to a beginner climbing Everest or K2 solo, without oxygen.

TurnBack Canyon - Alsek River - Alaska

Devil's Canyon - Susitna River - Alaska

Grand Canyon of the Stikine - Stikene River - Canada

The ''Pucker factor'' on these rivers is absolutely huge. Before they met imminent death, anyone suffering a failed roll attempt or spray skirt implosion would experience the most acute form of sensory depravation ever imaginable.

If you knew you wouldn't fail, the experience would be just completely awesome. You'd think you were imortal.

1. Get disgustingly rich... We're talking Oprah, Bill Gates and the richest ten royal families combined sort of rich.
2. Find the cure for the world's top five killer ailments, diseases and/or sicknesses, share the knowledge with everyone and make the cost of the treatment as affordable as possible.

I suppose this is crude, but I think I'd come on Laura Bush's face and post a picture of it on the internet.

kisshou -> RE: Something to think about (6/29/2005 4:32:20 AM)

LadyAngelika -> RE: Something to think about (6/29/2005 5:00:07 AM)

Skateboard. Dammit! I always wanted to be a skater girl in my teens but no matter how many hours of coaching my brother gave me, I always fell on my ass!

Ok... I have more noble goals. Though I don't think I would want to do anything that would change the natural balance of things like ending mortality... as much as mortality sucks, ending it would cause other problems such as insane over population.

Why would you attempt something if you could not fail? Why would you not just do it?
