When I first met my husband, I was studying for my GMAT's. I happened to be on the phone with him when I got stuck on a question that required the Quadratic Equation.. "Crap, the last time I thought about that was on my SAT's!!"
He immediately rattled it off to me..
I thought that was so fucking hot!

I started flirting with SM for the same reason. I would read his posts here and just go all gooey.. The first time I spoke to him on the phone and somehow we wound up discussing Economic Theory I was a drooling, drippy, mess!

Absolutely, this is so true. I always knew my man was smart, early on, but now I realized I am spoiled. It's a quality that's not valued as much as it should be. He reads several books a week, periodicals, etc. on topics ranging from philosophy to biochemistry to history and science and remembers everything he reads. I make him read entertainment magazines, I am embarrassed to admit, because I need to have some information in that field readily at my finger tips for a client. Like, "who is dating so and so," or "did x get a DUI or something last year?". He is a walking GOOGLE.

I hate to read. I forget things very quickly. I think I am fast on my feet with the skillset that I have, but there's no way I could ever keep up with him in any of the topics he reads. This is incredibly exciting, valuable and sexy.

And he can fix anything :)

OOooo I had one of those and his was hot. He only fixed people though, not mechanically inclined at all, but he made up for it by being very athletic. I loved getting involved in his sports activities.

At the top of the list, there are accents...Irish, Scottish, Australian, British....yummy! Ear length, kind of floppy hair on a guy...toss glasses in to that mix and I'm yours, lol. I like to see Ladies wearing smart slightly severe business suits, moderate heels, tightish skirt ,VPL,short jacket, and a slightly frilly blouse. Skirt and jacket dark colours, blouse bright contrast.
Throw in excessive lipstick and a small hat with a net veil and my day is made.lol

Not really a perversion I suppose but the journey from there to fetish clothing is quite short.

Since everyone has an accent, I'll say an accent different than Mine preferably southern european or francaphone sounding accents. Definitely glasses (I've written about that before). And any man who can cook, or grill well (hates that Bobby Flay is marrried grrrrrrrrrrrr) will set My heart afire.

I'm going to go slightly against the "smart people are hot" subtext here. Yes, I find intelligence incredibly sexy. However, I also find people who aren't necessarily bookishly smart, but who are none-the-less "graceful or gently, cutely unaware" equally sexy. I've met some women (and of course men too) who by academic standards (or even just standards of general worldliness) are dumb, dumb, dumb. But when the heart is in the right place, I find this a huge turn-on. For example, a woman who goes out of her way to help others in need tops my list of sexy every time. And I'll admit (though not proudly) that even outside the "good person", humanitarian sex appeal factor, sometimes it's just hot to fuck someone who is really stupid and completely self absorbed. Just because. Call this a guilty pleasure. :-)
