Well, welcome to the boards joey, I think you might get on well here. One problem with your post though, you used the word FIRED when it should've been SHOT. Free trade is a wonderful thing, for the big conglomerates. For us though it is something different. They say the economy is strong, what that means is that they have alot of money. My neighbor is one of the very very few I know still making any kind of money in a factory. He makes about $35K a year. Thing is, he used to make about $58K, but was fired for one mistake. A costly mistake he admits, but it should've cost him raises etc., not the whole job. But the market is such that each Man's value is diminished. Even the irreplacable are replacable now. Your local McDonald's manager could be an ex-engineer from Ford Motor Company. That is what they've done for us. And China, there is nothing we can do about it right now. And I don't see the wisdom in asking them to unpeg the yuan from the dollar when they hold so much in T bills and securities from the US. But then the powers that be haven't been operating in our best interests for quite some time now. Hmmmmmm, y'know salary comes from when they paid in salt, salurum or whatever, so why do they call being dismissed from a job getting "fired" ?. Yes, fire them by all means, but do it right, use a firing squad. T
