Dear curious reader:
I've tried the sending cordial emails route, and found for whatever reason that people often don't even give a courtesy reply. I've put all I need to tell anyone in my profile, if someone is interested, I'll let them contact me from now on. Guess the subject of this post is how I feel people around my age seem to be regarded in the bdsm community. Older community members seem to consider new people either as targets or prey, or insincere and not worth their time. The only Dominant female that made a meeting plan with me (coffee shop somewhere) stood me up without the decency of a phone call. I hear some horror stories of people whose first encounter or relationship was bad because their needs were neglected, and I take every careful step to avoid that as much as possible.
