Help!  I'm going away the end of the week to Florida.  Can you wonderful people suggest any fun things to do?  I'm in Florida alot during the year.  I've done most all the attractions Orlando has to offer.  Let me know especially for the people who live in Florida.  Thanks ~ Tarisa ~

There are quite a few things to do, depending upon where you are staying.  Several out of the way places for attractions are Gatorland in Kissimee, Cyrpess Gardens in Winter Haven, WikkiWachee north of Lakeland.  ON my side of the state there is Daytona Beach, Cocoa, Play Linda in Titiusville is a nude beach and the Space center.  In Daytona we have the speedway, the oldest working lighthouse, the pier and boardwalk.  There are tiny museums all over and if you are a nature lover there are boat tours, airboats, Blue Springs, Gemini Springs, Winter Springs which are all beautiful. And, of course, there's me.

Thanks Jerratica those are some good ideas...I will be all over Florida...Will be on the East & West Coasts...I wrote your suggestions down.  So tired of doing the same things while in Florida

I loved Tarpin (sp?) Springs, the beach there is very pretty, and the water was like bathwater.

heya lighthearted..I love Tarpon Springs also... the beaches and mostly the food...They have delicious greek food.  ( nice pic also btw lighthearted)

well.....as far as fun things to do in Florida...there is always ME!

I live in central florida, but am about 10 minutes from SIlver Springs attractions and Wild Waters....we also have tons of parks around all the springs, most of which have great hiking trails and canoe/kayak rentals. St Augustine is great, the fort and lighthouse and all the antique shops, great place to spend the day.

I have been to Busch Gardens in Tampa several times, and loved it.

I love Tampa.. well i basically live there... my Master and i's family live their. Busch gardens is fun, but only if your into the roller coasters. There is also the Castle... which is a known goth/fetish club... And Adventure island! woot woot.. there also the malls and the beautiful beaches!!!

Busch gardens, would depend on the age of the kids....if they are old enough for rollercoasters and rides, then they would have a blast...if they are alot younger, there are alot of animals...sometimes laid out kind of like a zoo, other places you actually walk or ride through the animals habitat
